Sure, Paul does not specifically make reference to "mystery Babylon" but you can rest assured that he was aware of everything Jeremiah wrote. Paul was not taking about mystery Babylon at all. He's talking about a leader of them who come in Jesus name and decieved many .People who claim to be in Christ. Mystery Babylon is a place .It's referd to as a city. If it influences the hearts and minds of mankind globally, it is a spirit. A city is more than bricks and mortar and a geographical location.
