WHEN DID/DO THE END TIMES , AS SPOKEN IN THE BIBLE BEGAN/BEGAN? popular belief #1, is an end time period of 7 years where both satan & Jesus duke it out for control of mankind. satans champion known as the anti-christ.... It May surprise you to know that a 7 year period of this nature CAN NOT BE FOUND WITHIN THE PAGES OF THE BIBLE!!!!! The Prophet Daniel, speaks of a period of 70 weeks of years.....hence....7 year divisions per se. it is however not given emphatically as to how these weeks of years are to be split up......we know FROM SCRIPTURE When the 69th week began/concluded.....but again this is A WHOLE not a perfect mathematical divide. the rest of the puzzle, wrests on how you interpret the "HE" IN DANIEL 9:27 [Dan 9:27 ] 27 "And he will confirm a covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week "HE" WILL PUT A STOP TO SACRIFICE AND GRAIN OFFERINGS; and on the wing of abominations [will come] the one who makes desolate, until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, gushes forth on the one who makes desolate." after years of study and comparing scripture with scripture and following every passage...I CLEARLY SEE THE "HE" AS JESUS not the anti-christ which is a popular view...... you might say, "WHEN DID JESUS MAKE THE SACRIFICE & GRAIN OFFERINGS DESOLATE?" [Matthew 27:51 NASB20] 51 And behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth shook and the rocks were split. [Mark 15:38 NASB20] 38 And the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. [Luke 23:45 NASB20] 45 because the sun stopped shining; and the veil of the temple was torn in two. APPLYING , the former to the latter, jesus himself put a stop to the sacrifice and offerings.....NOT A FUTURE ANTI CHRIST!!! So using this principle, it can be understood why the new testament speaks ONLY OF A 3.5 YEAR PERIOD ALLOTTED TO SATAN AND HIS CHAMPION to have their attempt, Peter says, [1Pe 4:12, 17] 12 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial WHICH IS TO TRY "YOU", as though some strange thing happened to you; ... 17 For the time [has come] for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if [it begins] with us first, what will [be] the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? or you may prefer the biblical view of "SEPARATING THE WHEAT & TARES, I.E SHEEP AND GOAT JUDGEMENT" THE BATTLE RAGES TIL THE LION ROARS

TEMPLE.......TO BE OR NOT TO BE....PT 2 [Revelation 21:22] 22 I (JOHN) saw NO TEMPLE IN IT, for the THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY AND THE LAMB ARE IT'S TEMPLE QUESTION? What happened to the (at this point) recently constructed 3rd temple? "IF" a 3rd temple is integral to the a/c's schemes why are we not told of its destruction? unanswerable questions, i understand...but together they should cause us to examine what is being said. throughout scripture, we get glimpses of GOD's Throne room Isaiah, Daniel, Revelation, Etc.....but where is this if (and HE IS) GOD is omnipresent? [Daniel 12:11] 11 "From the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation is set up, [there will be] 1,290 days. Before I delve into the sacrifice here, lets talk about timing....1290 days....or little over 3.5 years. clearly seen as occurring during the 70th week. is it first half or second half? OR STRETCHING within both? I lean toward both..... [Mathew 24:15-16] 15 "Therefore when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), 16 then those who are in Judea MUST FLEE TO THE MOUNTAINS How Long (or quickly) can one flee? 30 days perhaps? SO LETS RECAP...WHAT I'M SAYING.......JEWS are going to be Praying and preparing to worship freely (PERHAPS WITH HOPE OF BUILDING A TEMPLE) CRYING OUT TO GOD (DAILY SACRIFICE) AND SOMEONE IS GOING TO COME TO POWER AND PUT A STOP TO ALL OF IT AND DEMAND WORSHIP....AND THEY ARE TO FLEE THEIR HOMES IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT PREPARATION (LUKE 21:20-21) MORE TO COME..... TEMPLE......TO BE OR NOT TO BE....THAT IS MY QUESTION!!!!! The debate is vast among believers on the subject of a 3rd temple in Jerusalem. For the record, I DO NOT BELIEVE THERE WILL BE ONE.....nor do I believe any such structure for the purpose of sacrifice I.E TABERNACLE will be constructed.... Many if Not most believers are watching for this so called construct to be built basing their end times readiness on that event......However, DOES THE BIBLE ACTUALLY SAY THERE WILL BE A TEMPLE? [Rev 11:1-2 ] 1 Then there was given me a measuring rod like a staff; and someone said, "Get up and measure the TEMPLE OF GOD AND THE ALTER, and those who worship in it. 2 "Leave out the court which is outside the temple and do not measure it, for it has been given to the nations; and they will tread under foot the holy city for forty-two months. One of the clearest passages indicating a temple, and to be certain, one that seems to indicate a third temples existence. during the 70th week. the structure described in the above passage, is a brick & mortar building...ruling out the TENT (tabernacle) theory so what explanation can there be? I believe that it is an illustration for John's benefit as He is writing the book of Revelation. However, if we look closely, some clear problems begin to unfold in this passage........TEMPLE OF GOD......IF THE JEWS ARE SUCCESSFUL in Building this Temple, to be used for ANIMAL SACRIFICE, can it be legitimately called TEMPLE OF GOD? when in fact it would be sacrilege for animal sacrifice to be instituted once again. the benefit would primarily exist to be a home base for the anti christ, not BELIEVERS OR JEWS.... yet in the passage above it seems to indicate a viable TEMPLE with the purpose of GODS dwelling place....so what is JOHN seeing? I believe He is simply seeing the Temple as it existed in HIS DAY...NOT a FUTURE rebuilt structure. I'll Admit I don't have all the answers...but I do know there will BE NO RIGHTEOUS PURPOSE for a third temple.... I will show later...how if this 3rd Temple is built, it must also be destroyed AGAIN..... THE BATTLE RAGES TIL THE LION ROARS!!!!

BABYLON CONTINUED..... The Glory of the city must have been incredible a sight to behold......raised up and brought low by GOD to carry out a specific purpose. the following passages indicate her outcome [Isa 13:19-22] 19 And Babylon, the beauty of kingdoms, the glory of the Chaldeans' pride, Will be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. 20 *****IT WILL NEVER BE INHABITED OR LIVED IN****** from generation to generation; Nor will the Arab pitch [his] tent there, Nor will shepherds make [their flocks] lie down there. 21 But desert creatures will lie down there, And their houses will be full of owls; Ostriches also will live there, and shaggy goats will frolic there. 22 Hyenas will howl in their fortified towers And jackals in their luxurious palaces. Her [fateful] time also will soon come And her days will not be prolonged. also, [Jeremiah 51:64) 64 and say, 'Just so shall Babylon SINK DOWN AND NOT RISE AGAIN because of the calamity that I am going to bring upon her; and they will become exhausted.'" Thus far are the words of Jeremiah. Contextual reading of these passages are clearly referencing the ancient city and its glory...conquered by the Medes & Persians after the fall of Belshazzar. so clearly the ancient physical city has been permanently laid to waste... never to rise as a world power or local.... That being the case there are clear and prominent end times passages referencing Babylon the Great..... A general study of the religious atmosphere of Babylon shows from the VERY BEGINNING pride, self worth/ worship bent on establishing a HUMAN WORLD DOMINANCE, eliminating the IDEA of a single supreme being.....though there was worship of gods in a polytheistic manner, most of those gods, were self serving and created and worshiped for the things that could be given to men.... As I have read through the responses in my former post...I see many people struggling with The eschatological identity....but remember Paul calls it mystery Babylon.....the resemblance that we can ascribe to America, as well as other countries and entities...is due to the fact THAT THE PROMINENT PHILOSOPHY OF THE DAY WILL BE SELF SUFFICIENCY.....Psalms 2 , THIS WILL BE A WORLDWIDE VIEW not centered in any physical country or location..... So what or where is this GREAT CITY????? is it a physical location? a spiritual state or though? [Rev 18:3, 5 3 "For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the passion of her immorality, and the kings of the earth have committed [acts of] immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich by the wealth of her sensuality." ... 5 for her sins have piled up as high as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. From a Historical perspective, Babylon (Babel) began in the valley of Mesopotamia and rose to great power and total world domination ...it was a city of SELF ACHIEVEMENT And Emperor worship as well as many gods and deities, filled with wanton pleasure sexual perversion. After the Death of Nebuchadnezzar the country soon fell to the Medes & the Persian empires, to be brought low by Alexander, and finally dominated by Rome.... later to be totally laid waste and fall out of power completely. Is it to be Rebuilt????? some think so....But I believe close study of Scripture shows that the city is a type of philosophical ideology that will rule the day during the end times and it will be a philosophical ideology that infects the entire worlds thoughts and behavior.....IT WILL BE THE GENERAL CASTING OFF OF GOD or any authority OUTSIDE OF SELF RULE AND WORSHIP!!!!! [Rev 18:4 ] 4 I heard another voice from heaven, saying, "COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE, SO THAT YOU will not participate in her sins and receive of her plagues; [Psalm 2:1, 3 ] 1 Why are the nations in an uproar And the peoples devising a vain thing? ... 3 "Let us tear their fetters apart And cast away their cords from us!" THE COMING EVIL ONE KNOWN AS ANTI CHRIST....... Hello, [2Th 2:3 ] 3 Let no one in any way deceive you, for [it will not come] unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, So as you stated the actual TERM anti Christ is only mentioned a few times, but as with JESUS he is referenced by several titles and names throughout scripture. the above passage indicates that he will be a PERSON as do other references. WHO DUNNIT...... Growing up with 6 siblings and later having 4 children of my own, that all to often phrase was shouted... and the response was usually the same NOT ME!!! I have long been a fan of the entertainment industries WHO DONE IT themes as well...after all who doesn't like a GOOD MYSTERY!! wife and I in fact, went to the theater last night and watched one... Often times these types of movies ar Books etc...feature an A HA!!!!! moment when the plot or person of interest is finally revealed. Im pretty good at figuring out the twists and turns of such entertaining movies or shows doesn't change that A-HA for me in the slightest. GOD'S WORD is filled with MYSTERY as well and our journey on this earth as students of scripture is to study and unravel the great MYSTERIES of GOD. 2Timothy 2:15 15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. [Mark 4:11 ] 11 And He said to them, "To YOU it has been given to KNOW THE MYSTERY of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables, [Colossians 1:26 26 the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. According to the passage above, as time grows closer to the return of JESUS CHRIST there will be a number of SPECIALLY GIFTED believers who have a clearer picture of what is happening in the world around them as it relates to prophetic passages found in scripture.....I believe it is those people who will sacrifice their safety and openly oppose the schemes of the anti-Christ. They will be given a divine ability to accurately interpret the goings on in the world from a spiritual vantage point. though I can't be dogmatic, I don't believe there mission is primarily a mission to the LOST but rather a wake up call to those who find themselves in the midst of the great Tribulation and just prior. Though I do believe some will be saved through their testimonies and call to righteousness. THESE GIFTED ARE KNOWN IN SCRIPTURE AS "WATCHMEN" They have the gift of Prophecy (clear understanding of Gods Word) but unlike others with this gift set...they focus on portents of danger and a call to preparedness.
