We are living stones being built as a heavenly temple, but this does not negate the fact that the religious Jews want their temple re-built.  It will be rebuilt, and they will resume animal sacrifices.  This will probably not go over very well with the world.  No doubt, the armed forces will cause the desolation, but I still see no nuclear bombs in any of this.

12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

The 6th seal and God's wrath have nothing to do with the abomination of desolation or even the great tribulation.  Rev. 12:12 tells us the tribulation is Satan's wrath, because he'll know he only has a short time left.

The abomination of desolation is not put in Jerusalem by Satan.It's put in Jerusalem by the United states armed forces.

In fact the earthquake you read about when the 6th seal is opened is caused by nation rising against nation .

Mathew 24

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

All the earthquakes you read about in revelation are caused by nation rising against nation.Revelstion.6 is all about nation rising against nation and John described perfectly a nuclear explosion in revelation 6.

It's funny that you believe everything which is written and the wrath of God took place in 70 ad when the Romans expelled the Jews but you can't believe nation rising against nation at the time of he end could possibly be the wrath of God.

Luke 21

22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

The great signs in the heavens and fearful sights in the next verse is caused by nation rising against nation.

Luke 21

10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

That's what happens when you keep the verses in the context of the message.You get a greater understanding of what is taking place and the cause of it.
