Just exposing the enemy. If you feel lazy, just go to Jesus and ask Him for the truth about this and He will show it to you. Jeremiah 33,3 Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know. I've found if I don't have strength to make it through something I can say something like, "Father, I am not feeling up to this task. I ask for energy to do this and according to Your will. May the Spirit of life in Christ be flowing through me for this endeavor." It never fails, that at the end of the day I look back and express gratefulness to Him for supplying me with His grace (aka favored supply)! 2

I think laziness is laziness, not tiredness, and I do not blame any spirit........ "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving" Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. How long will you lie there, you sluggard? When will you get up from your sleep? Same. I think the devil and demons get more credit than they deserve for things that are just the failings of the flesh. I will point out that breaks can be productive, too. Sometimes when I'm doing computer programming I'll bash my head against something that isn't quite working right and have no idea why it isn't working. One good sleep later and it all makes perfect sense and the problem is resolved in minutes. This kind of thing happens with me a lot. I worked a half century in construction, a daily full body/mind work out. But every day when possible I took a needed 15-20 min nap. A breather. If I didn't get that pause I often would get brain fuzz (all circuits full) and exhaustion. My brothers, all hard workers, also do the same. Napping offers various benefits for healthy adults, including: Relaxation. Reduced fatigue. Increased alertness. Improved mood. Improved performance, including quicker reaction time and better memory. Reduced fatigue. Boosted mood. Improved heart health. I Cannot remember/name of the study that was done, but our brain, central nervous system, does not have a lymphatic system, the vital part of our immune system, which removes waste and protects us from infection and destroys old or abnormal cells your body doesn’t need. I saw a PBS Frontline documentary that showed that scientist discovered how the brain removes that waste. It comes about when we fall asleep. Using some kind of thermal or sonic imaging they saw some kind of green river like glow in the brain of the waste being removed. Neat video. Power naps are not a myth. They work. I had this below in my keep box, I found it a while back on line. When you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.” Pr 3:24 NIV Try a power nap God built specific triggers into our bodies to let us know when it’s time to escape consciousness. And wise people listen to these clues. History’s most notable power nappers include Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison, and Winston Churchill. There is a reason why your eyelids start to droop around 2:00 p.m. The levator muscles, which constantly contract to keep your eyelids open, give out and beg for a break. And a chemical called adenosine, which collects in your brain when you’re awake, piles up and makes you feel drowsy. Consequently, your body yearns for sleep to allow the adenosine to disperse, resulting in instant relief. A study published in the Annals of Internal Medicine confirms that people who nap for at least thirty minutes daily, three times weekly, are one-third less likely to die from heart disease. And additional research suggests that taking a nap can improve creativity and memory. Cognitive neuroscientist William Fishbein says that often during a brief nap, our brains actually keep working to resolve problems and form new ideas. That helps explain why Mozart professed to have composed music in his dreams. Studies also show that a little extra sleep can assist with weight control—which means you can lose as you snooze! Ghrelin, a hormone produced in our intestines, tells us we’re hungry and triggers cravings for sweets, salty foods, and starches—all the bad stuff! However, when we sleep more, our colon stores less ghrelin, and our craving for junk food diminishes. In Scripture, Jesus not only took frequent rest breaks himself; He encouraged His disciples to follow suit. So, try a power nap.
