INTRODUCTION [1] To be a moral person, and live a moral life, which is the route to love and harmony in human relations and peace, joy and happiness in our affairs, a person must follow the instructions in this treatise. [2] In putting the instructions into practical application, it will be found you must first become aware that you enact the immoral acts, often out of blind habit, [3] then catch yourself enacting them, [4] and finally come to succeed in not following through on them, [5] such that you eventually come to catch yourself thinking of acting in the immoral way and immediately banish the thought, [6] until the very thought ceases to enter your consciousness altogether; [7] this is to achieve exemplarship. CHAPTER 1: Jealousy [1] To defeat the sin of jealousy, you must: [2] refrain from finding fault with others, and always focusing on their negative side and what they're doing wrong; [3] refrain from bribing others with favors and gifts in an effort to win a place their heart; [4] refrain from insincerely flattering others in an attempt to win their love and esteem; [5] refrain from accusing others of being disloyal based on suspicion and no evidence; [6] refrain from undermining others search for love by putting stumbling blocks in their path; [7] refrain from gossiping and talking destructively of others behind their backs; [8] refrain from stalking, spying and snooping. CHAPTER 2: Envy [1] To defeat the sin of envy, you must: [2] refrain from criticizing others to tear them down; [3] refrain from seeking to discredit people and their doctrines, when they violate no one's right and freedoms; [4] refrain from sabotaging others efforts to find prosperity in life; [5] refrain from doubting others and using discouraging words that defy their noble desires; [6] refrain from competing with others in unfriendly competition, to prove your superiority over them. CHAPTER 3: Intolerance [1] To defeat the sin of intolerance, you must: [2] refrain from judging and condemning others based on their beliefs or lifestyle, where no one's rights and freedoms were violated or revoked; [3] refrain from bullying others and pushing them around because their beliefs or lifestyles differ when they don't violate or revoke anyone's rights and freedoms; [4] refrain from shaming and humiliating others for their faults and mistakes; [5] refrain from mocking others for their faults and mistakes; [6] refrain from censoring others and killing the liberty of speech; [7] refrain from vilifying those who disagree with you; [8] refrain from shunning others for their differing beliefs or lifestyles, or for their faults or mistakes. CHAPTER 4: Lust [1] To defeat the sin of lust, you must: [2] refrain from fornicating; [3] refrain from committing adultery; [4] refrain from seducing others into committing adultery; [5] refrain from masturbating to anyone not your spouse; [6] refrain from ogling others. CHAPTER 13: Selfishness [1] To defeat the sin of selfishness, you must: [2] refrain from trolling others just to provoke responses in them; [3] refrain from blathering on without noticing if the listener is receptive; [4] refrain from hording all you can get and seeking after more than you need; [5] refrain from breaking your promises; [6] refrain from threatening blackmail to reveal damaging information about others for personal gain. CHAPTER 14: Self-Pity [1] To defeat the sin of self-pity, you must: [2] refrain from complaining and grumbling about your poor lot in life; [3] refrain from blaming others for any undesirable circumstances; [4] refrain from guilt-tripping others into abiding by your wishes; [5] refrain from meddling in others’ relations and affairs. CHAPTER 15: Deceit [1] To defeat the sin of deceit, you must: [2] refrain from lying to others, and concealing the truth; [3] refrain from slandering others to damage their reputations untruthfully; [4] refrain from framing others to make them look guilty of something they’re not; [5] refrain from practicing cowardice and assaulting others outside their awareness; [6] refrain from plagiarizing others work and passing it off as your own; [7] refrain from catfishing others into believing your identity is something different than it is; [8] refrain from gaslighting others and trying to convince them they’re guilty of something they’re not. CHAPTER 17: Impatience [1] To defeat the sin of impatience, you must: [2] refrain from interrupting others, except when clarification is necessary; [3] refrain from pestering others; [4] refrain from interrogating others by bombarding them with question after question; [5] refrain from nagging others to do what you want. CHAPTER 18: Mercilessness [1] To defeat the sin of mercilessness, you must: [2] refrain from persecuting others by inflicting unjust treatment on them; [3] refrain from depriving others of the needs of their body; [4] refrain from imprisoning others and revoking their liberty without just cause. CHAPTER 19: Cruelty [1] To defeat the sin of cruelty, you must: [2] refrain from torturing others; [3] refrain from mutilating others; [4] refrain from raping others; [5] refrain from murdering others. CONCLUSION [1] There should be no denial, excuses, justifications or the use of scapegoats for enacting these behaviors. [2] That’s to be irresponsible and suffer a lifelong sentence to the practice of immorality, and thus condemnation from God and man. [3] The person who reaches a stage in their development whereby they consistently apply these instructions to their life as a matter of habit with little error, [4] they will have become an exemplar of the moral law, and their soul will reach a balance and then a credit under the moral order; and these are the citizens of the kingdom of God. He changed when he got the baptism in the Holy Spirit. It's all true, but why focus on that? Easier to focus on loving God and others. And flashing your wealth, that is the biggest sin in Calvinistic Holland, also for non christians. I would rather have to watch out that I dont brag about how little I need. Come to think of it LOL thats what we do on a News site and then judge others who have the bloody nerve to spend 10 euro extra on nonsense. Oh I can grocery shop way cheaper than you! I go to Germany. It's so cheap there. Guy got jealous cause he lives farther away from the border and can't go there. A person becomes a "citizen of the kingdom of God" by being covered by the blood of Christ - NOT by following all your rules here. The "balance and credit" to a person's soul does NOT come from their behavior. If so, why did Jesus die? Being "moral" is something that a lot of lost people can do. FIRST come salvation. Do you not know that "faith without works is dead"? We get saved by grace. Not by works. So no one can boast. Nobody could keep the whole law. That's why Jesus came. It's enough to say: Lord have mercy on me, a sinner, when you have lived terrible your whole life and say that on your death bed. If you stay alive then yes you can't live like the devil, but you don't want to if you get born from God and yes these things are good to warn if you backslid and don't hear God anymore. Normally the Holy Spirit immediately says: hey not good. I was a teen. I gossipped with my friends about my other friends. I hated 2 friends because they rather hung out together than with me and I thought I was in my right and I did not believe in God. Then I got convinced that He existed and went to a church. Then I prayed the sinner's prayer and I just said it. I wasn't thinking: ooooh that is sin that I hate them. That was normal to me. I didnt even think about it. But afterwards the first thing I noticed that changed was that I could hug them. That's not my good works. God did that. I got a new heart. Years later I backslid when I divorced, so I was back in hate. Then yes I got warnings with hell from God and preachers. I lived in sin. I had to repent and come back. And yes teach them to obey okay it's a part of discipleship to learn what to do, but most of that stuff is obvious. It looks like a list for atheists.
