I didn't know at the time what was wrong, I was having something close to labor pains. ouch! I prayed to the Lord for healing. I said your Word says that you heal.... Hay, I didn't know any better...the Lord healed me right then and the pain has never came back.. the cyst is still on my ovary. Doc thinks that is funny he said that pain don't just go away! Oh yeah it does... I have been healed of Asthma.. delivered from drugs, healed of anxiety attacks, demons cast out... I prayed for a woman in the nursing home that had been bed ridden for days with hip arthritus (sp). The Lord raised her up and also set her free from depression and then after she rededicated her life to the Lord, He took her home.. all in a month. I have seen most healing outside of Church usually to the unbelieving unto thier salvation. All for HIS glory... In Christ, Karen

She prayed that there wouldn't be water backed up in his heart. I never even knew till today that that's what she prayed for. Cat, to Jesus be the glory. I don't heal, I just pray. I pray when I feel led to pray, and when asked. Then I ask the Holy Spirit to guide my prayers, so that they will be pleasing to the Father. I never know the outcome of my prayers, I just trust the Lord that His will be done. I don't think that I want to know the outcome. I don't want the temptation for a puffed up head, nor do I want the disappointment. I'm not strong enough for either. But, I am so happy for your hubby! (for the record Cat. I asked that the fluid around his heart dissipate )

One of many great examples in the Scripture of Godly people not being healed but not lacking faith either.

Guest KiwiBird
If truly Jesus took all our sicknesses and had already redeemed our bodies them we would never die.

How could we possibly do greater(larger) things than Jesus Christ? I am under the belief at this point that the greater has more to do with being widespread. Jesus' earthly ministry was three years in one region. From that point on, we have been commissioned by Jesus to share the truth of the Gospel to ALL the world. Hence, it's not greater than what God can do. I do believe that God still heals. He is the great Physician. We are the nurses that are to give the vaccine to the patients.
