Isn't it a Leadership call! :P

The last church I went to was very gospel with a lot of rthymn and blues beat. This one I go to now, is a lot more conserved - just a thought.

Same reason Christians don't celebrate any of the other Feasts . . . .

And what is that reason?

Well . . . it kind of started back in the second or third century when Christianity became a Gentile religion . . . .

I've always thought of Chanukah as a purely Jewish cultural celebration. One that doesn't necessarily apply in any way to Gentiles. Like ...Why don't you celebrate Indonesian Independence day?

Though to be honest, my family and I have a type of Chanukah tradition. Each night we light the Menorah and talk about dedicating a certain part of our lives to the Lord. ( Our time, our talents, ....) It is the Feast of Dedication, right?

It may have nothing to do with Gentiles...but what about Christians?

Look to the story of Chanukah, the miracle, and tell me again why we do not celebrate it. :P
