1. What do you all think of the Mahmoud Asgari and Ayaz Marhoni executions?

2. Do you think that it is wrong to support GBLT equal TREATMENT, not necessarily marriage, acceptance, etc.?

Thanks and nice to meet you all!

Welcome to worthy Myles. I hope you will stay and fellowship with us.

1. What do you all think of the Mahmoud Asgari and Ayaz Marhoni executions?

Personally I find it terrible that they were executed. I do not think that what they did was without fault though. Our Lord tells us what they did is a sin. One they need to repent from.

2. Do you think that it is wrong to support GBLT equal TREATMENT, not necessarily marriage, acceptance, etc.?

Thanks and nice to meet you all!

They can be treated as equals. Equally sinful with the rest of humanity. Equally in need of a redeemer to save them. Equally in need of Jesus.

Do I think they should have gay marriage? No. I cant support something I know is a sin.

Myles, since you are asking these questions, let me ask you one please. Who is Jesus to you?

Myles, since you are asking these questions, let me ask you one please. Who is Jesus to you?

Interesting question. Jesus to me is the Lord of All, the Way, Truth, and the Life, the Redeemer. He is the only way through heaven. He is perfect and without sin. He is one distinct person in three "entities" (The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost). I believe that he was sent here from his Father in Heaven to lead us into salvation. Other than that...:huh:

I find that I have a real passion for events like the one I mentioned previously. I really feel guilty for the execution in a way. I didn't even hear about until earlier today, and I feel like I should have done something. Prayer, even. The way I see it, God's will is for all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the Truth. If we are sent to do his will, and these young ment died without knowledge of the truth, we have ultimately failed. I know that it is impossible for everyone to come to the knowledge of the Truth, but I can't see into these young men's hearts, their conscience voice which I believe to be God's written law in their hearts. That is the beauty in the tragedy- that we never know where we will find them in the next life. :P I suppose I went a little off-topic from your question, but I answered it as honestly as possible.

I know Him as Lord and Savior, the atoning sacrifice for our sins. He is wonderful indeed.

I too ache for those who are lost. Very sad to think of all those who die without Him. There but for His grace, goes I.

We need to pray and witness as we can, as we are led.

This may sound somewhat crazy, but, do you think that it is wrong to pray for the resurrection of someone's soul or physical body from the grave? Try not to laugh, it's early in the morning!

We know they will be resurrected in the end times. To which eternal destiny, that choice was already made before they died. So I dont think praying for that is good. Sorry. Um unless you mean raising from the dead to live again on earth? Hmm, never prayed for that. I pray for them before they die.
