I don't believe in aliens at all. I believe God created us and us alone, otherwise why would He not say so otherwise? Surely if there were other beings, other than the spiritual - which I might add, God tells openly about - would He not tell us of them?

Imagine how Genesis would have gone otherwise... "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth and another earth... ... God created man for the earth and then God created another race for the other earth in the heavens above..."

I did read a good explanation for the non-existance of aliens; and that was that the Bible clearly states that Jesus will return to collect His believers and roll up the earth and sky like a scroll. But if we hadn't fallen in the first place, earth would still be perfect and there would be no need for the whole Revelation scenario. Thus meaning that if other beings were present in the universe, they would get 'rolled up' with creation and destroyed because of our planets sins - because it sounds pretty clear that all of creation is destroyed and make new so if another planet started the same way we did but didn't fall then they would be unfairly wiped out too.

I don't know if I wrote it out as well as I hoped to explain it, but I trust you catch my drift!

We as believers are aliens and pilgrims in this old world for sure.

But I was referencing the other kind of alien beings unfortunately. Do you have any opinions of your own in this regards?

Thanks for the reminder that we are indeed strangers and pilgrims in this world and look for a city like Abraham and all the other saints before us whose builder and maker is God.

Does this not describe the saints. We are citizens of another kingdom, we are of a different family, we are outsiders to this world. Saints we are aliens in this world.

Daniel 8:9,10?

aliens as in ET...I cant say yeah absoultly I cant say no absolutly. God has not givin us that insight. We must remember HIS WAYS ARE UNSEARCHABLE. All I know is that earth is here and we are here. Jesus is our deliverer, and that is all I care about. If there are ET's then I pray that they recieve the same grace. But if I had to make a choice I would say no, but since my salvation isnt hangin on if there are ET's or not I really could careless if one believes in aliens or not.

Thanks so kindly for your opinion, and no our salvation sure doesn't hang on it thank God for that as Jesus is our deliver.

And I do believe the Bible contains the answer.

Thanks for your response, First I take your post to mean you do not believe in alien beings and are in fact hostile towards the idea of them and there is certainly nothing wrong with having that view. Am I correct in my assestment of your post if not, just let me know.

I do not understand from your post why you are even giving this thread any of your time since you do not think it is even worthy of us to be discussing such things. The time wasted on this thread could have been spent by you on doing the much bigger job. And that much bigger job is "VERY" much so important and not to be taken lightly I agree. But I would ask of you in your personal life how many topics do you discuss with others in one day that is not the preaching of the gospel. What may be worthy of a chat to one may not be to another as people do have questions and beliefs in these kinds of areas that need to be corrected and answered by the church. So I would ask you to leave that to the ones who choose to respond and share there opinions if it is worthy of discussion.

As far as the government is concerned they spend to much of our money on nonsense all the time not just in regards to research on aliens which for the record I do not agree with. And if this is where your hotility thus lies I can understand it.

And the Bible does hold the answers.

Hello Again,

Although this may seem very laughable to you as some of the things I hear myself that people believe in are funny to me. However, it doesn't dismiss the fact that there are Christians who in fact have been taken in by false teachings in regards to this type of belief and have erred in the faith. This kind of stuff is a serious religion to a lot of people and the church should be aware of this type of deception taking place. There is doctrine contained in the messages that comes along with the deception of alien beings as well that good people fall for and begin to believe in instead of the bible. We as Christians should fight against this deception with the truth found in all of God's Word.

I am forever amazed at Christians saying they believe in re-incarnation for example and say they are a believer at the same time. Well we as the church should be vigilant and address such deception. It is real very real even in fact, to some that have been caught up in the whirlwind of these types of false teachings and deceptions especially, in the days we live in.

I think back even to those people who comitted mass suicide following one of the UFO cult leaders I can't recall his name it was Apple White or something like that. But they were suppose to be waiting on a comet which was Hailbop (spelling may be off) at that time and believed death was the gateway to the next life as hailbop was a spacecraft coming to get them and was going to take them away to another planet. That was the belief that these people actually came to believe in and utimately died for.

Well to you and I that sounds ridiculous and foolish but to those who got caught up in that web of deception they now have no hope of eternal life. People are hungry for answers in regards to the after life and will reach out in their quest for truth and will embrace all kinds of falsehoods to satisfy the hunger in their souls. We the church should provide these answers to those who seek on the issues. That is why I want to know from other Christians what there opinions in this area of alien beings are. I want to know what others think on these things for it is important to me for my own reasons.
