(The Lexington Liberal, as I refer to it.) A KY Legislator is stating the school should no longer receive state funding because they discriminate. Seems Christians will be forced to accept the gay lifestyle as normality, or we will be discrimated against. Opinions? http://www.kentucky.com/mld/kentucky/14313621.htm I have no idea if I'm posting this in the right place.
Guest LadyC
i wasn't aware that Christian universities were able to recieve state funding. i thought they were considered private institutions... the whole liberal "separation of church and state" garbage. let them withdraw funding. God will make a way. God blesses those that defend His Word. and God doesn't need the help of the state government, He is capable of sustaining the university financially without them. There are churches and schools falling all around... They will either stand or they will fall victim to political correctness... I pray they stand... This is America...a private school can have its own rules, and as long as they do not accept public money, they can do what they want. "Come out from among them!" Time to stop taking government money, that's all.

I never thought of that, but apparently they are eligible for funding. Our legislator who is condemning the school is Ernesto Scorsone. He is the only openly gay member of the general assembly. I'm curious to see whether or not he gets his way. And God will make the way, I agree.

Christian schools really need to eschew government money.

God is not for homosexuals and never will be. A christian cant stradle the fence. You are for God and what his word says or you agree with them and are against God. How many people must die slow horrible deaths via sexually transmitted disease and drug abuse before society realizes that the acceptance of homosexuality means more disease and death? And when will people realize?: Friends don't let friends be homos! Edited April 12, 2006 by ChrisChrusherComix

Either these students aren't taking teachings to heart, or the school is failing to teach them a proper Christian worldview.
