We're in a war...the battlefield is filled with bullets and mortar .... air and ground attacks. God's put us out in the field and we'll probably take a bullet or two. Hopefully, not a critical hit. We live and work in the world. Perhaps we should recognize it as a real "battlefield". What can we do? Cloister ourselves away in a monastry and take vows of silence? We are in the world, yet somehow - need to remain separate. We're told that this is true religion: to care for widows and orphans in their distress and to keep ourselves from being polluted by the world. * That's the trick...keeping ourselves from being polluted when it's all around us...television, radio, Target stores and everywhere we turn... Guest dove2
The middle aged man (heir) that now owns Hilton Hotels is into porn of young girls. I have three beautiful granddaugters. They happened to be at a party where this man was. I do know his name. This man sought my three granddaughers out and offered to take them to his million dollar Hilton birthday party in Calfornia. He was going to dress them with mink coats and fabulous designer dresses and first class tickets to this affair. My three granddaughters were all smarter than to fall for this man's ploy. He was also going to give each one of them $500,000 each to attend his birthday party. This is straight from the horse's mouth. No doubt about what this man is doing. Several of my granddaughter's friends fell for this and was given exactly what Hilton said he would. The thing is they are now in porn movies. What is so sad some of these girls are only 14 years old. Other than that I only know they are in Los Angeles. Don't you think that would be a great reason to boycott Hilton Hotels? A boycott is stop buying a product because of a specific reason. I think it's a fairly simple and logical thing to do. I'm not calling to boycott "all sinners of the world" but to boycott a very specific product because of a very specific reason and it's ok if you don't but props to those who will boycott AA . P.S. thanks for the NIV Bible & Hilton tips

We must remember that it is not how we view our actions but how the world views them. That is why you never saw Jesus or any of the disciples picketing or protesting or boycotting anything. They simply walked into the midst of sin and sinners and in deep Love from above, told and lived the Gospel of Salvation before all who saw and heard them. Not condemnation upon their sins or sinful lifestyles. Like I said before, a sinner knows he is a sinner, there is plenty out there condemning him already. Truely Born Again Christians will not condemn but be a verbal and physical beckoning Light of Love drawing them (if they so desire) to Christ not beating them over the head with His Name. Now, if you want to boycott Zondervan, well.... (just kidddding)
