Guest Shawneeda
Good post CWJ. The translators for the KJV version prayed over what they translated, studied it, checked it, and rechecked it. Westcott and Hort didn't even believe in the divinity of Christ. I started a thread " would you " go to a church that the pastor didn't believe in the divinity of Christ, and everyone said no, but they read Bibles that have been translated by two people who didn't believe in Christ. But if they didn't..who cares? They DID NOT write the greek text they published. Check out the life of Erasmus. He "prepared" the greek text used in the KJV. He was not a southern Baptist.... - Steve
