I guess everything just recycles itself. Interesting.

And cigarette shaped and colored bubble gum. Red tip and all. :x: And BTW I was on the "Bozo" show on tv as a tot and won a Hi-Ho Cherry-o game for guess what? HULA HOOPING! Does anyone remember an old game where you chant "I'm going downtown to smoke my pipe, I wont be back till Saturday Night", then I forget the rest--I was REALLY little but I remember playing it on my grandma's front porch, the game involved pretending something about someone sneaking in the house while she was gone??? Did anyone mention "Red Rover"? or Wax lips?
Guest
Did anyone mention Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd? Or how about the Road Runner and Wylie Coyote? How about one room school houses? Or outside privies, also called johns... Or the water being in the pump outside and not having a bath tub in the house??????? This remember is pretty cool.......... :a:

Ooh, "killed da wabbit, killed da wabbit, killed da WAAAH-bit"... I thank my Lord I never had to use an outhouse at home. Only at grandma's out in the country. It scared me to death. Thankfully, my only experience with an outhouse was about 25 years ago. We were temporarily living at a hunting resort in the middle of the rocky mountains. My ex was working close to there on an oil rig. There was no running water because of the freezing temps (-30's ! ) The resort was only used to being in operation during the summer months. It was a small town of one general store and 5 or 6 cabins. It was beautiful the day I arrived. The next morning there was 3 ft of snow and still snowing. There was a shovel propped up against the outhouse. You needed it to get the door open, even at 5 a.m.
Guest
When you grow up with it, it is really not a problem, but I would not want to go back to it. Oh yah and I remember only having a pot belly stove for heat. Not much heat got upstairs where we slept. brrrrrrrr I think living like that made us tougher, heh heh.
