I saw this and was scary; you can find links to the "interview" all over the net, but here is how Chris Wallace described it.

"I felt as if a mountain was coming down in front of me. "

I was delighted to get the chance to interview former President Clinton. This was the first one-on-one sitdown he's ever given "Fox News Sunday" during our 10 years on the air.

The groundrules were simple--15 minutes--to be divided evenly between questions about the Clinton Global Initiative and anything else I wanted to ask.

I intended to keep to the groundrules. In fact--I prepared 10 questions--5 on the CGI and 5 on other issues.

I began the interview with 2 questions about Mr. Clinton's commitment to humanitarian causes. His answers were cogent and good-humored.

Then--I asked him about his Administration's record in fighting terror--fully intending to come back to CGI later (as indeed I did).

I asked what I thought was a non-confrontational question about whether he could have done more to "connect the dots and really go after al Qaeda."

I was utterly surprised by the tidal wave of details--emotion--and political attacks that followed.

The President was clearly stung by any suggestion that he had not done everything he could to get bin Laden. He attacked right-wingers--accused me of a "conservative hit job"--and even spun a theory I still don't understand that somehow Fox was trying to cover up the fact that NewsCorp. chief Rupert Murdoch was supporting his Global Initiative. I still have no idea what set him off.

Former President Clinton is a very big man. As he leaned forward--wagging his finger in my face--and then poking the notes I was holding--I felt as if a mountain was coming down in front of me.

The President said I had a smirk. Actually--it was sheer wonder at what I was witnessing.

I tried repeatedly to adhere to the ground rules--to move the President along--and back to the CGI. But he wanted to keep talking about his record fighting terror.

When it became clear he wanted to throw out the ground rules--then I just went with the flow of the interview.

Now ask yourself why Fox News has not asked these same questions of George Bush...?

Fox News is a controlled News Network with a political agenda...The greatest lie ever perpetrated by Fox News is their campaign to describe themselves as "Fair and Balanced News Reporting....Go back to every single news item involving George Bush and see if they have ever said anything defamatory about him.

Fox News is a Bought and controlled News Network....with its own political agenda...You see, when you OWN the News, you control the news.

They are not called "Fox" for nothing...A fox is cunning.. More cunning than any other critter..Watch their interviews closely..When they have someone being interviewed who is Anti War, they always have at least two who are Pro War...They stack the odds...so they cannot lose. They are very crafty indeed. If you want fair and balanced News, I would advise that you watch ANY news besides Fox.

Regards,

Ben.

The same question was asked of Donald Rumsfield, the Secretary of Defense, can't go any higher without speaking directly to the President.

Fox News, is named so, because it is owned by the company 20th Century Fox. Also the owner, is a liberal, but he is not an idiot when it comes to making money. He knows honesty and truth are what the American people want to hear. Anyone that says Fox News has a political agenda, doesn't watch Fox News, they get their information second-hand from political blog (whining/crying) sites. Bill O'Reilly is a very smart man and very skilled at debate, people do not like to go one on one with him, because they know they will lose. I Guess their egos can't accept a challenge.

But hey,

Some people want to remain intellectually stagnant and only listen to people that share their opinions. The same can be said for both sides of the political spectrum. I personally like to hear different POV's so I can make a determination on my own of how things should be represented.

Bill Clinton shouldn't have gotten defensive or made rediculous accusations. If he was able to be unsettled by this guy, he wouldn't stand a chance debating Bill O'Reilly. Which is why Clinton hasn't let O'Reilly interview him yet. He's afraid of the challenge, plus he needs to campaign for his wife for the presidency. He can't look like a fool and credibly campaign for his wife too.

Thats right..They have the power to shape your POV simply by HOW they broadcast the news. It is a subtle manipulation by giving the illusion that they are a "fair and balanced" news reader by submitting their own commentary...They do this because the Network pushes it..Otherwise they would be chastised for their own commentary...Its all scripted...its all played out before you even hear it...The Network has an agenda...Its mission is to sell you on what its promoting. Whatever they are promoting they will be very upbeat about. Even when things dont look so good, they will still push their agenda. Those things that stand in the way of their agenda, they will tread down every opportunity they get. Very Negative reporting and very positive reporting is the indicator of what agenda they are pushing.

Watch closely..Youre right about them knowing about making money, but once you already HAVE money, all that remains is the grab for Power...Its not much good having money if you dont have the Power. Greed has a way of exposing itself sooner or later...

Regards,

Ben.

Oh, I'd love to see that as well. O'reilly would make a complete ass of himself, par for course, and Presdent Clinton would remain dignified and act like a true leader. It would be priceless.

;) How to set up an interview between Bill Clinton and Bill O'Reilly....

Mwaa-haa-haa-haaaaaa!

Bill Clinton is a pathological liar. His record speaks for itself. At no time in U.S. history have we a had a sitting President that was involved in so many scandels. I am just amazed at how women liked Clinton. He took advantage of women every chance he could get. Monica L., a 19 year old white house intern is just one of Clintons flings, reseach what he did in Arkansas sometime. So we have this great leader who gets sexually involved with 19 year old girls in the oval office, remember Bill is married and is the president. President Regan once said that he wouldn't even take his tie off in the oval office, showing how much respect he had for the office and the presidency, Clinton used this place for sexual flings with 19 year old interns, and then tried to lie about this. Some great leader......

Get real, I've watched enough of Fox's 'unbiased' reporting to know better. 1st, there isn't ONE unbiased reporting agency, with the potential exception of NPR, and Fox is so Right Wing it's sickening and very hard to sit through a broadcast

Blagh, blagh, blagh. And your George W. Bush is a pillar of innocence and virtue. ;) Give me a break.

Is this the best comeback you can give to defend Clinton is blagh, blagh, blagh.......probably so, that's about the best things I could say about Clinton. Clintons legacy is Monica L. and that all it will ever be. Of course we could talk about Somalia, Travelgate, White water, His personal counsel killing himself, how Clinton stole items from the White house after he left office, how his wife invested money with Tyson in cattle and made $100,000......and in his Arkansas days, Jennifer Flowers and some other women that he paid off to shut up that I can't think of right now but I'm sure it will come to me.

I believe that "balgh, blagh, blagh" is about what's due to someone who regurgitates the same the same old Rush Limbaugh quote of the today. So I ask you, Is that the best you can do?

I don't have to do any better, we had the President of the United States having sexual relations with a 19 year old intern in the oval office on more than one occasion and then lieing about this in front of a grand jury. This is called purgury and you if and I or any other red blooded American would of done this we would of been sent to jail. This is just one scandle. How can you be so blind. If a Republican President did this I would of been for his impeachment. I don't have the rest of the day to type of the Clintons scandles. This would not only take days but years.
