Grace to you,

Messengers? Yes we are all messengers of Gods Grace. Every single Christian is a witness and messenger of Gods Grace in the world.

Peace,

Dave

OK.

Perhaps Jesus did want women to have an "equal" role in the Christian Church. But if so, he didn't bother to "lead by example" did he?

Act 9:36 And in Joppa was a certain disciple named Tabitha (which translated is called Dorcas). She was full of good works and kind deeds which she did.

Some disciples were women. The apostles were men. That doesnt mean women are less than men.

Before my salvation, I was a tough feminist. That the apostles were men and not women has never bothered me. I am secure in the knowledge that He sees women as beloved children as much as He sees men that way. Please note that Im a chat admin, on equal terms with the male chat admins. In His service, Im where He wants me, and quite content to serve. I am not some second class lesser being than any of the Christian men.

God could have chosen to just appear on earth but He didn't.

He chose to have a "woman" birth him and raise him.

Why did He choose the 12 He did instead of choosing other people? They happened to be the best for the mission He had.

Yes, it just happens that they were all men, and St. Paul also. The best for the job. Strange that.

my wife, who is pagan has stated that she is benefitting from my Christianity in the way I treat her. I'm getting really bored of the unbeliving group and the flotsam and jetsom that they keep dredging up here. Is there a way to flag the posts so I don't have to read them to find out if the same cast of characters have nothing better to do then post their rants?

You know, it just struck me that you are talking about roles. (Thats what I get for typing while eating dinner lol.) Men and women have roles in the church, each to do their part. The roles they have doesnt mean women are lesser than men, it only means they have different roles.

Go to their profile, and on the upper right, you will see options. You can ignore or block the user. That way, their posts are not visible to you.
