That makes me sad. For people to read and discuss a book together is such a great thing! People who do this tend to become very close, learn about each other's thoughts and feelings on issues and come together more as a body. What a great thread! I enjoyed The Hawk and The Dove trilogy by Penelope Wilcock. Ok, it was fiction and set in a monastary about 800 years ago, but the character development is amazing! I didn't think I would like it at first, but didn't want it to end by the time it did. I also enjoyed the Screwtape Letters by Lewis. I didn't understand them the first time I read them.
