To me praise seems to be more centered on ourselves while worship is a lot more focused on the Lord. I do think about how the tabernacle corresponds with the Lord's Prayer - first, entering the outer court with praise = Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name

Can't quite understand how you arrived at that conclusion...

Oh..well.....it takes all sorts to make a world, eh?

Blessings :emot-hug:

To elaborate, the point I'm trying to make here, is that HE alone is worthy of Praise :taped:

Praise and Worship is all about HIM. :emot-hug:

This is the time we take focus of ourselves and completely onto HIM.

The difference is, according to my understanding, that there are three levels of drawing near to God, each one more 'profound' than the last, and shows a picture of worship according to the ancient temple layout:

Thanksgiving

Praise

Worship

"I will enter His gates with Thanksgiving

I will enter His courts with Praise

Worship is coming into the 'Holy of Holies', where we are granted the privilege of sitting at the Master's feet

Yep...I'm sticking to my original assertion :emot-hug:

Sorry...is that a rhetorical question or an actual question?
