I know this is probably not the right forum to reply with this, but I couldn't be bothered to start a new thread with it.

Here is something that somebody posted a few days ago. I can't remember who, though (sorry)

It is a real-time world map of events, such as terror alerts, bird flu and other things

I can't see believers getting denyed access into the heavenlies, just because they received a m/chip before they died.

I know the whole chip thing fits the bill on "cannot buy nor sell" without it.

But I have yet to hear a decent explanation for what makes it an abomination, the number of the Beast, a denial of Christ, etc.

So, I concur with this statement. Even if a microchip of some kind is used, it's got to be more than just a transmitter/receiver/bar code. Right?

Yes i think it'll be like this

You go get your mark and then recite a little pledge or they know that the mark is a pledge to the antichrist.

People will know when they take the mark they are supporting the antichrist.

Very impressive Stephen, but too time consuming for me to probe. Thanks for sharing.

I found it pretty neat, myself. I even bookmarked it.

Sorry, though, to whoever posted it originally, that I can't credit you (whoever you are)

Well in this day and age, I can't see 6.5 billion people having a micro chip implanted in them if they don't want it...........but who knows.

As you have a reasonable constitutional right to privacy, there is no way that the government could ever force you to be chipped.

You could be chipped now, the technology exists, but as I said, there is no way that the government could ever force you to be, or that a company could legally force you to be as a condition of employment. Either way, it would be blatantly unconstitutional. That is, unless we instituted a Judiciary that was so extremely right wing and authoritarian that they actually overturned all the right to privacy rulings. Either way though, it is an extremely unlikely scenario.

So "extemely right wing..."?

I don't think it has anything to do with "right wing" or "left wing".

Government is government, no matter who is in charge. It's only going to take a few failed attempts to get something passed eventually that could bring something like this to fruition.

Tell me, when people felt that carrying around an ID card was such a violation of civil rights, did they win in the end? Now, most places require you to have some form of ID by law, even though the "punishment" of not having it on you at the time varies to different degrees.

Never say never, my friend.
