Guest Biblicist
Thank you to all here at Worthy who have served or do now serve in the military. And for the future military, those who are planning on joining to support the defense of our country. Thank you! My father served [drafted] during the Korean War as an MP in France. I've been working on his scrapbook recently. My husband's great uncle [whom he was named for] died in WWII during the battle of September 1944, during the failed attempt to capture several bridges in Germany. Called Operation Market-Garden, A Bridge Too Far is the movie about that time. My husband served [enlisted] during the years of 1986-1990. He finished his tour within weeks of Desert Storm. He and I lived in Germany at Nellingen Barracks. My son is in the Air Force JROTC at his school. It's his first year and he LOVES it. He plans on staying with the ROTC through high school and college, then going into the Air Force right out of college hopefully as a pilot, at least to fly!
