Heb 4:14Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are

Just to note; the cross of Christ needs no defense. It is apparent to those that are truly seeking and are sought. To those that aren't, it is simply foolishness. Our job isn't to defend but to proclaim. It is the Holy Spirit that will do the rest.

God's Word does NOT return void.

God bless.

1 Corinthians 2

1When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with eloquence or superior wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. 2For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. 3I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling.

Galatians 6:14

14May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

It's been my fear that too often we get caught up in debates that are meaningless if the message of the cross is overlooked.

Gal 1:6I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel

Thank you Lord for the cross. The cross reminds us of how He died in our place.
