For example, I go to cafes a lot...what is one supposed to say to the cafe people? Because i go there a lot so I feel like Im supposed to say something- but what do I say? I mean, when i go up to order my drink, what is one sposed to say? Well, I don't know what country you live in but I can give you the generic that works in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico (yep, everyone seems to speak English down there!). Simply say "Hi, how's it going? I'd like a ..........., please." Or " Hi! Wow, what a crowd today, huh? Can I get a .........., please?" People just want to be treated like people! Not a number, not just the next body in line or just the person taking orders. Just plain old human kindness!
