It certainly is no secret when countless Christians go missing. How can it be secret? It is not the Second Coming event, for we will be with Him when He comes--after He has gathered us! Poo poo this all you wish, but countless of us believe it. This "doctrine" does nothing to add or detract from the truth of God's Word applied to our lives, so why all the concerted energy to denounce it? There is no biblical proof against it. It is inocuous, spiritually to believe it. So, no need to be condescending--as the article appears to be.

Jesus is not coming alone, he is coming with angels! (Matthew 24:31) And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. (Matthew 25:31) When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. Do you remember what happened when one single angel came to earth?... (Matthew 28:2-4) And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men. This one angel made these guards shake in fear and they became like dead men! Take a minute to even attempt comprehension of this next thought. Can you imagine what it will be like when Jesus returns with the entire angelic army of heaven? How many of you enjoy a good sunset? All of the beautiful colors and sights. Now imagine that the entire skyline filling up with the wonderful glory and brightness of all these angels. When Jesus returns, it will be so bright, it will seem as though the sun came down to knock on your front door. There will be nobody in the entire world waking up the next day saying, "I can't believe it, I missed it! He just came and went." Everyone is going to know that Jesus and his angels are filling up the sky and bringing people up to him in the air! 2. Jesus will return roaring with a shout and with the Trumpet of God. (Jeremiah 25:30) ' The LORD will roar from on high, And utter His voice from His holy habitation; He will roar mightily against His fold. He will give a shout
