The boy had received a Purim gift (traditional) and when opening it, it exploded in his face. The boy lives in Ariel with his family who are all followers of Yeshua. They had been threatened in the past by "Anti Missionary" Jews and that is who the police suspect are behind it.

David Ortiz works mainly with Palestinians in the West Bank, encouraging them to convert to Christianity. Ortiz, said one acquaintance, had received death threats from Muslims angered by his missionary efforts. A number of his followers have been beaten up and jailed by Palestinian Authority officials. There are two houses in Israel I know run by friends.... and they said it is not good....I look at my own daughter and it hurts me in the heart that there are children out in the world...being blown up, without homes food or clothes..even roaming the streets without parents as early as 3 yrs old...(kosovo, Africa)

The OP says its believed to be Jews, and Neb's article says Muslims??? Not that it matters very much I guess, a child is still wounded and maimed because of hatred. Look at it this way. No, thats not right, thats assuming. There are some groups of Jews who are known for violence and intimidation of those spreading the Gospel. So, I wont just assume it was Muslims, what good does making up your mind before you have the facts do for anybody?
Guest shiloh357
Whoever did it, Jew or Arab, should be brought to justice. There is absolutely no justification for intentionally harming an innocent child.
