I get into funny moods sometime at the ridiculous of it all.

I can just picture them in the lab.

"Heavens to mergatroid! Look at how complex that thing is! This can't be right! But it is. I'm shocked!"

"Gadzooks is that thing ever complex. I'm shocked too!"

I think you've been watching too much TV.

Have you ever been in a lab?

Actually there are a lot of scientists that I respect because they can make reasonable interpretations of the evidence.

Sorry about the comedy scene going on in my head (warped and immature as it may be). It's still there, continuing.

"Stop! You're drinking from the petri dish!"

"Oh my! What am I doing? I'm in a state of shock! "

You mean you guys don't find the word shock :th_praying: funny?

Well, it will be interesting to hear people explaining how this creature came to be via evolution, considering that it goes against evolution.

We creationists need to desist this nonsense. Scientists are constantly revising their understanding of things, including evolution. This is to be respected, not ridiculed. Let's attack evolution with good logic and science, ok? Nebula, if I've misunderstood you, I apologize and would appreciate your clarification.

Hey - I'm in the science field myself. I have a better understanding of how science works than a lot of people do. However, I am not blind to the fact that the human nature to be biased has not infiltrated into what is supposed to be "objective" science.

But I meant what I said - it will be interesting to see what they come up with. I also just happen to get a kick out of cases where new discoveries challenge what everyone thought they knew.

Nubula, what exactly goes against evolution, though?

You mean you guys don't find the word shock funny?

no.

That's the thing about a warped sense of humour like my own. If I find something funny and others don't see the humour, it makes it all the more hilarious. :)

Don't mind me. :)

But tell me, are you "SHOCKED" :th_praying: about this finding?

Not this... :emot-dance: .... or this.... :24: or this.... :emot-dance:

Were you like this?

 I hope that was a typo.

:24: How does it follow evolution?

Nebula, I'm not an evolutionist. I am a creationist who believes that all faulty logic should be resisted. Can you answer the question, though? You stated that this goes against evolution. Can you explain?

I'm sorry. I apologize for my silliness, but there is something about the word 'SHOCK" that I find utterly hilarious.

No need for apologies, Artsy. This thread could use a little humor...... :emot-hug:
