Scientists Who Believe

In their book What is Creation Science? Henry M. Morris and Gary E. Parker wrote that most of the great scientists of the past who founded

and developed the key disciplines of science were creationists.

Note the following sampling:

Physics: Newton, Faraday, Maxwell, Kelvin

Chemistry: Boyle, Dalton, Pascal, Ramsay

Biology: Ray, Linnaeus, Mendel, Pasteur

Geology: Steno, Woodward, Brewster, Agassiz

Astronomy: Kepler, Galileo, Herschel, Maunder

These men, as well as scores of others who could be mentioned, were creationists, not evolutionists, and their names are practically synonymous with the rise of modern science. To them, the scientific enterprise was a high calling, one dedicated to

This isn't meant to be an argument between evolutionists and creationists. That is in a whole other thread I have going. This is meant to show how science harmonizes with the Bible.

Instead of this becoming another long thread debating evolution, the point of this thread is to show how science harmonizes with the Bible.

Evolution is not science.

Evolution is a fairy tale for grown-ups. This theory has helped nothing in the progress of science. It is useless.

I would like to know something as well.

You obviously seem like an eduacted sort.

So instead of asking what would make you believe in God, I would like to know this.

Would you consider yourself to be a good person?

I consider my intentions to always be what I believe to be good. Like everyone I make mistakes from time to time.

May I ask you a few questions regarding this?
