The Father not only tells us that He will bring His Son`s enemies to His footstool, but we are also shown how He is doing that.
The Prophet Zechariah was shown a vision of God the Father sending forth four spirits of heaven to areas of the earth, for judgment. These angel spirits stood before God the Father and in His timing He sent them out to bring the nations of the earth to judgment. They are shown as `chariots` which depict judgment.

The Father has told His Son to wait at His side while He brings His enemies to His footstool, for judgment. Then at the appointed time the Son will judge the nations.

We live in a fallen, damaged world and so its evils, horrors, injustices loom large in our minds. Thus I desire to emphasise what God is doing in our times.
