  1. Shiloh357's Deu 22:23 If a damsel [that is] a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her; Deu 22:24 Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, [being] in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour's wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you. Shiloh's The point of the law was that women weren't to stray from their family protection. Shiloh's Lev 18:9 The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, [whether she be] born at home, or born abroad, [even] their nakedness thou shalt not uncover. Lev 18:11 The nakedness of thy father's wife's daughter, begotten of thy father, she [is] thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness. Lev 20:17 And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter, or his mother's daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it [is] a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sister's nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity. Shiloh's All of God's laws are just. I agree that what was sin then is sin now. Like Paul said, how would I know what is sin if not for the law.
  2. WolfBitn's You're misinterpreting the scriptures. What the scripture mean is that Adam wasn't deceived by Satan.
  3. WolfBitn's You're over doing it, a commandment from God is not necessarily a law. My point is that the laws of Moses didn't begin with Moses, they were the laws of fallen mankind to keep them from unholiness inorder to be in the presence of God. There's no exact scripture that proves this, but examples like Melchizedek being the king of Salem (Jerusalem) and God's priest, leads me to believe that that was the way of mankind from the fall. WolfBitn's The woman being deceived because she didn't know good and evil, ate the friut then deceived Adam. That's why she was in the transgression. WolfBitn's Sacrifice involves fire. I don't think God would sacrifice to himself eventhough they probably cooked and ate the flesh if the skins were of clean beasts. As for the rich young ruler it was his love for his possessions that separated him from God. It's easier for a camel to pass thru the eye of a needle, etc..
  4. The law varies, a woman could be put to death for being raped if she was married purely for the reason of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. It was the principles of obedience, purity, and jealousy. If you were raped as a virgin, you were no longer eligible to be a wife under the law (Mat 19:9). You were considered to of played the whore. God is just.
  5. Methinkshe's The lesson was that young girls weren't to stray far from their parents because they could be raped or forced.
  6. WolfBitn's If that was law then it would be for all mankind. WolfBitn's It wasn't Adam's or Eve's decision to sin, they were decieved not knowing good or evil. WolfBitn's I agree that God's laws were from the beginning and not just from Moses because the laws are laws of purification and atonement for sin, but the killing of animals for clothing is not of the law. WolfBitn's Their offerings were firstfruit offerings, and it was Cain's heart that wasn't right with God. As for grace, consider Cain being the 1st murderer. his building of the first city called Enoch after his 1st son, and the occupations of his sons. WolfBitn's Once again I agree that the Mosaic laws are from the beginning. He sacrificed animals that are considered clean by the mosiac laws. WolfBitn's I agree that God has always been merciful but why would the disciples urge us to be without fault and blameless for Christ's return by keeping his commandments? The answer to the question of law or grace is in the interpretation or comprehension of what Paul meant when he said, "how would we know what is sin if not for the law". The definition of what is sin is defined in the commandments. The only commandments that have been abolished/fullfilled is the shedding of blood for sin. What was sin to God will always be sin. Inorder to not sin and be blameless before God is to know what is offensive, what is sin, to him. WolfBitn's Yes there's forgiveness for sin instead of the shedding of blood for atonement, but the murderers and adulters that I think you're referring to in Rev, I think, refers to serial killers and adulters that commit the unforgivable sin of witchcraft (iniquity). WolfBitn's The only laws done away with (fullfilled) are the shedding of blood for the atonement of sin, wether sacrificial or judgemental. We cannot know what is sin to God unless we read the books of Moses.
  7. Food for thought: The wheat and the tares is what is referred to as the rapture at the end of the world where the tares will be gathered to be burned in the lake of fire. If this is so, what happened to the resurrection of the 144,ooo and the multitude that reigns with Christ a 1,000 yrs until the second ressurection which is the Great White Throne judgement. . In the wheat and tares parable, the tares are gathered first which is the opposite of the 1.000 yrs reign resurrection. The great white throne judgement which is the 2nd resurrection, the good and the bad are risen together and are separated, the sheeps on the right and the goats on the left, into the lake of fire where the beast and the false prophet are. If the tares are the wicked that are gathered first into the lake of fire to be burnt without a throne judgement, then the wheat are the good who will then be gathered in the barn which is the New Jerusalem without a throne judgement. Two will be in the field and one taken, etc..
  8. No one individual nor any government can enforce the mark. The mark is enforced by members of your household and countrymen. In every household, in every part of the world, including the undeveloped countries the mark is enforced by people of the occult. the CIA, people with esp. Overcoming the world envolves the realization of the fact that magic and the sixth sense exists. precepts
  9. There is no verse that speaks of a one world government. The beast that rose out of the sea was Rome. Out of all the roman emperors, only 11 were natives by birth or family. History proves this. The 8th emperor, Flavius, ended the Agustus dynasty with his two sons, the 9th and 10th emperors. Nerva the 11th, plucked up the three, starting the Antonine dynasty better known as the five good emperors. The name of the beast(Flavius) was used by Josephus, Constantine, Constantine's mother, as well as others. For more on this, research Flavians.
