You and my son. When he is really involved he can't even answer a call from his mama. Gonna steal the power cord to his computer one of these days, just to get a bit of a conversation with him. We just moved back to the states from the Caribbean. That saved me a WAD of money on groceries right there. And I just discovered Aldi's! It is so cheap... specially to someone used to paying $6.50 US for milk and $2.75 for a loaf of bread. I am trying to get into using coupons. I have friends who save a lot of money that way. In Cayman we kept our AC at 80 in the day time and 76 at night. Where we stay now our power is free, so hubby has turned our apartment into a fridge capable of hanging raw meat. I may use all my savings from groceries on buying sweaters to wear at home.

I'm trying to be a good example but I get so frustrated. I really need his support right now. And to be laughed at by my own husband for being a Christian is very hurtful. I get enough of that outside of my home. when you get frustrated, take a step back and tell God that you need Him at this very moment.....tell Him everything you are feeling (it helps) besides He already knows......and far as your husband goes.....it doesn't look like you can get his support "right now" so lean on God even more.......all things work together for the good to them that love the Lord and are called according to His purposes.....like i said earlier.....getting involved with church activities can strengthen you also...meeting with other believers

Continue praying for your husband and live the example before him. Only God can change a person. You are in my prayers..........and keep going to church with your son that is great.....and maybe getting involved with church activities will give you some support you need right now.

I like Glenn Beck...(it really doesn't matter when you cry out to God, just as long as you do......the thief on the cross) and yes it would be great if that were our first cry!!!

Google osteen and larry king, then google fox, mormon, osteen and you will get transcripts of 2 interviews in which he says things that are not sound. I've also seen one where they did Billy Graham the same way...................made it where he didn't say Jesus was the only way

I like Joel Osteen too. I believe he is doing God's work.. even if you aren't a christian and hear his messages it makes you want to get to know the God that he speaks of so lovingly... Sometimes we don't need to be beat over the head with religion, we need to be shown the love of Christ.....Like Jesus did.........the woman brought to Him in adultery........he didn't beat her up. He showed her love and mercy

I wouldn't listen to anymore of his sermons
