Another friend who is now in ministry had an encounter with God - the kind that left him on the floor crying out in repentance. Last fanatical tongue talkin' church I went to,God asked them why they hadn't came to Jesus yet. I've spent the night in jail, and been released with no charges, for tellin' a bible story at a revival. I was supposedly saved when I was 9 years old. But I was a babe in Christ for many years. Even after this miracle I am about to share with you happened, it would be a few more years before I began to dillegently seek God. I was a roofer by trade and working for myself. Before the job was finished I ran out of money. I had a wife and three hungary children at home. So I walked around the corner and up the street to a pay phone to borrow some money. Nobody home. As I was walking back I was praying to God to show me how to feed my kids that night. I reminded Him of how He had nearly killed me for saying I didn't care what He said,and I knew He was hearing me and could help me. I said, I believe you can show me before I get back home. When I was 4 houses away I said, Lord , Yer a runnin' outta time here, but I know you will show me. At that moment a van was going by, and the rear wheel fell off and rolled in front of me. Was some old people in it. I told them I could fix it for them, and they let me. They gave me fifteen dollars, and I told them normally I would not take it, but my kids were hungary and how that God had answered my prayer. I'm not sure how they felt about God knockin' thier tire off, but I was shore glad He did. Now that fifteen dollars didn't come floatin' down outta the sky, but it was a miracle nonetheless. Right or wrong?

I believe alot of what Joshua said. Also because we have seen and know some of those such as Benny...... who is dangerously close to being seperated with the goats, does not mean that all miracles and healings are done by those the Lord does not know. Out of the mouths of babes comes perfect praise. The people in these churches may be spiritual babes and still have need of meat. Case by case, and let God's spirit speak through you, whether it be to Benny, or babes. And may there be peace this day between One Light and man.

God created a new heart in us when we were born again (2 Cor. 5:17) and sealed it with His Holy Spirit so it would never be polluted again (Eph. 1:13). He promised He would never leave us nor forsake us (Heb. 13:5), and His love, joy, and peace are now a permanent part of our born-again spirits (Gal. 5:22). Yet multitudes of New Testament Christians pray and sing the exact opposite of this. David had the Holy Spirit. This is why he is asking God not to take it from him. The word of God came to all the Prohets, by the Holy Spirit.

Here is an example of Paul talking about God having mercy, not how he used his own faith to heal someone. The Jesus Movement wasn't the Hippie movement - the Jesus Movement is what brought many hippies to salvation. Evangelism was the key theme of these new Christians. Many of them would simply play guitars and sing on the sidewalks about Jesus as a means to draw people in. Record labels such as Maranatha! (the forefront praise and worship recording company through the 70's and a bit into the 80's) sprang from the Jesus Movement. So I am not understanding what you are protesting? So then the differance between me and a robot is, I have a mind and a brain that while He is doing this in me I am learning what is pleasing to Him. Fear and trembling because until I've finished the course, He may turn me to my old puke again. Which begs the question of when was Satan cast out of heaven. If he was kicked out after the ascension, there would have been no need for Jesus to go to Calvary, thus no ascension. There is an entire thread devoted to the question of when Satan was thrown out of heaven so I won't rehash it here. However, it seems entirely plausible that Jesus was predicting a (then) future attempt by Satan and his minions to retake Heaven by force, assuming that Revelation is a literal account. If it is allegorical, then that opens a whole other can of interpretive worms. All of this, of course, is cautious opinion and not meant to be definitive. WOW!!! Satan definitely get's kicked out of heaven after the ascension. The only thing I'm not sure of is if it was as soon as Christ got there or if it was after the 1260 days the woman was in the wilderness. REV. ( Grace as you see came because he called them to him and delivered them his goods before they did any work.) The first 2 servants worked by trading with thier talents and gained more. And the Lord said well done " good and faithful servants " enter into the joy of your Lord. (This is Grace through Faith in Christ and any works done without faith in Christ are not of salvation and not to be boasted of.) The last servant who knew who is Lord was and had been delivered goods, did no work and was cast into outer darkness where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Before Christ was crucified, He foretold alot of things. As He was with God before the foundations of the world, He knew when Satan would be cast out, before He came here and also while he was here,and also when He revealed it to John. While I cannot at this time say for sure, I lean to the idea Satan was kicked out of heaven as soon as Christ ascended to the Father. And that he is here making war with those who have the testimony of Christ.

What you say is true. When it was written that confession is made with the mouth to the saving of the soul, it is not a one time confession. Jesus said we will be judged by all our words. So then, in all that we say or do we are to be making an open confession of Him and His teachings. He will not hold us accountable for what we do in ignorance. However the more we learn of Him, the more we are required to obey Him, which shows our belief. When we do not do the things we have learned from Him He is faithful to forgive us when we repent. If we have learned things of Him, we know when to repent. Now one man may learn one thing of Him, while another learns another of Him. By sharing what He has taught us, we sharpen one another. Now I'm not saying He teaches opposing views on the same subject, He is not the author of confusion. All things have to be in agreement with what Jesus taught us to be true.
