  1. I agree, Its a interesting discussion Woman are not second class citizens. I have been uplifted greatly by woman speaking in church. Maybe the interpretation of the meanings that paul writes is a little grey, and could very well be based on the society that was lived in. We know that every word in the bible is not law. At least I dont think so.
  2. Well things to change. I dont believe the law changes but then again Paul was writing a letter of his opinion, and how he conducts things in churches.
  3. I am sure it was global as the bible points too.
  4. This is not racist no hatered is in this at all. OK forget the PC most illegals in the southwest are from Mexico. If you can not speek english when your pulled over thats good enough reason for me to check there background. People in the US are tired of the free rides, and if they want to call it racist then so be it. wouldnt hurt my feelings.
  5. This is a good thing that, more states should adopt. If your illegal not matter what race, you should be held accountable. We have job problems here for Americans who pay taxes. Of course its not popular with our President who may or may not be an illegal himself.
  6. Yes I agree with the above Tyler Perry is a insperation. He keeps things real not all of his movies are PG but they are not R because he keeps the stuff film makers just add when they realy dont have too. I always remeber a interview he gave, when asked what he did when he made his first million. His answer was pay his tithe. I amnot saying that a Christian orinentated movie couldnt be R especially if it had drug use, and adult material. I realy love the movie the "second chance" wich is PG-13. Well anyway just keep your head up keep your eye on Jesus and things will come together for you.
  7. Its terrible men want to live that way. Not to get to material, but I enjoy having my own money, car, and peronall freedom. I know we live in tough times, but realy from what I have been through and no, jobs are still out there.
  8. Wow, we live in a crazy world. Praise God I know the word, and by his grace not decieved like many in these churches.
  9. Listen I wannt these Americans freed but saying "safely within Iraq's borders" is just as bad. When you travel to these countries you do so at your own risk.
  10. I realy feal bad for these people, but to be honest there is this voice in my head that screams out. "WHY ON EARTH ARE YOU WALKING AROUND ON VACATION IN IRAN OR EVEN CLOSE TO THAT COUNTRY". I hope they are released and I hope it sends a message to other misguided travelers.
  11. I wonder if Obama visits Arizona if the police will ask him if he is a immigrant.
  12. I do not see anything wrong with it. We raise our hands, sing and if we want to sighn the cross so be it. Jesus be praised.
  13. My girlfriend has more money than I do, and I still pay for most of what we do when we go out. No fair
  14. All Christians should be baptized, although I believe that salvation comes when a person first believes, then works take place because of faith. We do what we are commanded to do not to gain favor or salvation from God. but we are compelled by Christ love to do good works. We are told by God to be baptized then that is what we should do. I know of a church that teaches ones only come to salvation after they were baptized. I only went there a few times.
  15. I have never heard of Paul having a wife ever. He claimes to be single, and one who enjoys being single. He does seem to know of the struggles and enjoyments that goes along with marriage. But those could have been learned from his own observations.
  16. Regardless of what the bible says, if you are trapped in sin that violates it, you will try to justify your actions anyway you can. It is seems hard with ones who are gay. The bible is very specific. It is not a "grey" erea. I know this may not help much, but I have known and talked with many more woman who have had encounters with the opposite sex. I dont know why this is, maybe because it is more acceptible for woman in this day an age.
  17. last I knew evry gov employee had a ID card with a chip in it. I still have my old one
  18. OK people are agreeing that the editors of our Holy scripture, got it right. Like something was wrong with it. The bible is a 99% coplete guide to Christian living. That said I honestly can not see that it dosnt have a little human mistakes. Nothing that changes the world.
  19. I have been skeptikal about claims, I enjoyed reading Baxters divine revelation of hell, but when it became a serious of books, those darn dollors can be very decieving.
  20. We should be able to understand as Christians that it sounds great, to have everyone with a great lifestyle and living. We can not get this through government. There is nothing wrong with wanting heaven on earth. What is wrong is the government imposing what they feel is right upon the people, who most do not want ther action or input. Jesus said that the kingdom of heaven is within you. What those do not understand is that we can have cheap healthcare for all, everyone can have a living and earn there own way. Its not through the government its through Jesus Christ. When we all allow the kingdom of God to become alive in us, our social problem begin do diminish. Being compelled to do what is right to our fellow man.
  21. differences between Christian denominations, I wouldnt even know were to start.
  22. Alot of what liberals want to do seem ideal, otside of abortion, gays, and well probably a dozen other things. What I am I talking about liberals are destroying the country. Its like were all on the titanic and its going down. Maybe we can get to the lifeboats and maybe fight and build this nation back up again one day.
  23. Exactly feelings are nice but faith is not based on feelings. Ive been in the valley and on the ountain top but either way Christ is with me. You may not feel him, but he is there, believe it!
  24. Well I gues it depends on the term liberal, if it is what you mentioned then no. Although I am sure there are people who are liberal and are Christians.
