A bible study on Idols. As long as these people are not professing these things or persons to be Gods and praying to them I will not be so judgmental as to accuse them of idolatry. Is it not also a sin to bare false witness against another? Matthew 7:3 "Why do you see the speck in your brother's eye but fail to notice the beam in your own eye?

What, in your terms, would you consider "worship" as one sits at their computer nightly?

Many children 'hear voices'; most aren't bothered

Makes ya wish you were young again doesn't it? I miss the person I was when I was young. I miss my innocence. -
US Terror Blacklist Whitewashes Hamas, Enables Funding

I'm curious to know what influence the U.S. treasury has over funds flowing into and out of Gaza, especially from the E.U.. The next question is, what influence does the U.S. Treasury have of the "international" list of terrorists, unless their influence is limited the only the U.S.'s version of it. -
why does talking about politics and religion get so heated?
O'Dannyboy replied to e lansing's topic in General Discussion
Perhaps because they are subjective. They both go to the heart of what we each consider right and wrong, good and evil. Our ideologies make us who we are. When there is a difference of opinion each is likely to conclude the other is wrong and therefore influenced by evil. If you were in a conversation where someone even hinted that you might be influenced by evil wouldn't you too become a bit perturbed? That's all it takes for the tone of a persons voice to change and thereby change the course of the conversation. It's righteousness vs self righteousness. -
Encouraging that many Muslims to congregate anywhere outside of the middle east is a recipe for disaster. Before you know it they would be rioting and claiming the nation for themselves.

WN: Billions more for banking bailout - Washington Times
O'Dannyboy replied to WorthyNewsBot's topic in U.S. News
It's all pretty sordid. First the democrats all but force the banks to lend money to high risk applicants knowing that Fannie and Freddie would be forced to buy those "toxic" assets from the banks. Now that Frannie and Freddie are suffering from those purchases the government turns around and writes a blank check to them. -
I saw that as well but I could not determine if you could get the internet service without having to have the television channels/service as well.

This should also to apply to certain persons who will no doubt be seeking RE-election as well.

Without being more specific than "central Maryland" I'm not sure if I can get very specific either. Sufficed to say that Maryland has a lot going on in the optic fiber arena. http://www.mdbc.us/ Again without being more specific I can't recommend specific carriers nor can I go into detail about how much such services would take to install much less use.
-
But Neb lives in Central Maryland ... got one for there? Doh! lemme look.
-
I would try to go with Fiber if it's available and comparable in price. Here is a web site that compares different, though not all, service providers and services in the New Hampshire area. http://www.mazecreatordsl.com/NH/

Not just global warming but "man made" global warming. Their whole premise has been that Humans are a detriment to the planet. While in some cases they are correct they simply over estimate our ability to overwhelm the environment. That being said, we should try our best to be good stewards but that does not necessitate the need for a global government to oversee those efforts.

All of the so called "peace plans" have been unrealistic. Why? Because they ALL make unrealistic demands of Israel and ask nothing of the Palestinians except that the recognize Israels sovereignty. Which the Palestinians consistently refuse to do. If the Palestinians want peace all they have to do is stop attacking Israel and recognize Israel as sovereign. Anything short of that is an exercise in futility.

Despite all the money our government spent last year nothing has improved. The banks are stingier than ever making it harder for new businesses to get started and now with the health bill looming most will be forced to hire new people only as a last resort. I do not expect recovery to be as quick as even the most reserved economists have projected. We already see the trend. The government wants to spend more money on more government projects rather than give the small businesses of this nation a break. As it is the few incentives people had to start their own businesses are rapidly disappearing.

WN: 'Syria will back Hizbullah if Israel attacks' - Jerusalem
O'Dannyboy replied to WorthyNewsBot's topic in World News
That's pretty cowardly of them to say. It's not like Israel has been attacking everyone nearby at will. Israel is the one who has been getting attacked and only responds when their citizens are in danger. The article may as well say "Syria will back Hizbullah if it attacks Israel". -
What I find funny is how New York Life insurance company is still advertising its AARP approved/endorsed insurance plan as though the AARP endorsement were still a good thing.

What evidence would it be that "believers" are ignoring?

It's not about "knowing", it's about believing. It's called faith.
