Now, supposedly, the G8 (including the U.S) has come to an agreement to insist that Israel cease its attacks in Lebanon and Gaza. Meanwhile, Hizballah militia continue to fire missiles into Israel at random. Another article posted here indicates that Iranian military have possitioned themselves on the lebanese side of the border prepared to launch more sophisticated missiles into Israel upon command.

What I would like to know is how the American naval fleet is postioned should it need to respond quickly. I have little doubt that there are already several submarines postioned in the vacinity just in case. I am simply curious haw far away any of our aircraft carriers are from the arena.

Iran has been itching for a fight and they may very well have found one. If one Iranian can be varified as commiting an act of war against Israel there will be hell to pay.

There aren't many of us that care to hear what Amor has to say or that think that another debate with him will bear fruit. He is no friend of Israel and is doing nothing to edify the body of Christ on these boards. One can only wonder why he is allowed to remain after all the evil things he said about Gods chosen.

The Muslims already have the wheels of their propaganda machines greased and turning. Yesterday I wrote a reply to two different arab newspaper articles of which neither has been published. I basically told them that their proxy war on Israel is transparent and their support for the palestinians and terrorists tell volumes about their true intent and feelings toward Israel. My pastor gave a service concerning the conflict and tried to inform the congragation of the truth about Islam and its goals. He basically said that 1 in 4 people who claim to be Christians think that all the religions are the same or at least equal. It seems to me, according to the news, that there is a great amount of support for Israel here in the U.S. though I do not think that most of them are aware of the truth and are merely compelled to support who they perceive as the victim. We need to pray that the media will do what it can to inform the american people about Israels situation and WHY we should support her.

This statement is more than mere speculation, it's a malicious rumor. You either need to stick to the facts and provide your proof at the time you make these statements, or keep them to yourself.

The following link shows the middle easts oppinion of G.W. Bushs handeling of the Iraq war. Its actually very telling. Our leaders have gone to great lengths to leave a good impression on the people of the middle east in regards to the rebuilding of Iraq. "Do you approve or disapprove of the way the American President George W. Bush is handling Iraq War?"

Chavez is an idiot. It's not the U.S. backing of Israel that is causing tension in the middle east, It's the existance of israel that is causing tension. The Arabs, especially the muslims do want nor do they recognise Israel as a sovereign nation. Moreover, they want to see every Jew on the planet dead because that is what Mohammed tells them they must do if they want to go to heaven. You know, there has been only one person in the public eye that I have heard actually say something remotely close to the truth and that was Glenn Beck. I wish we could somehow make it known to the world the injustices being committed against Israel under the guise of the palestinian conflict.

I stand with Israel till the end. God bless Israel and be merciful to those that wish her harm for they know not what they do.

The people that said these things have no interest in the truth. They merely want to hurt and kill Jews. Even if the Jews moved to say Alaska, as Irans president suggested, does anyone actually think that the Muslims would leave them alone? I know I sure don't. They would make up something about how Mohammed walked in Alaska for so many years and that he promissed it to his children and so on and so forth, and they would again set upon the Jews for simply being Jews. The truth of it is that Islam is perpetually at war with the Jews (1st) and infadels (2nd) because thier religion tells them to. Just look at the relationship between the Sunni and the Shia. If the world were filled with nothing but Sunni and Shia, there would still be war because they are commanded to "jihad" and kill infadels. Moreover, because mankind is full of sin and evil and is lost without its Shepherd Jesus.

If the muslim world would simply leave Israel alone there would be peace in the middle east. We all know that the muslim nations are fueling the fire and offering praise to those who will in any way make Israels life as miserable as possible. The Palestinian people (no more than arab immigrants that rushed in during the zionist movement) have no claim to the territory once known as Palestine. The palestinian people have not only tolerated violence against Israel, but they have encouraged it. As long as they wish to see violence, no matter who it is against, they too will suffer and under the circumstances, they will suffer harshly. They have chosen to become a curse to Gods' chosen people and are reaping what they sow. Perhaps there is hope for the palestinians if they will renounce violence and beg forgiveness. However, the nation of Islam (the muslims) will pay a very heavy price before they realise the error of their way. God will destroy their armies as they set upon Israel and they will then know that the Jews are Gods chosen and they will beg for mercy.

I do not know about most of what you have written but I am waiting to see what will happen. If their is a man who signs a peace treaty for 7 years then we will definately have to keep our eyes open. Just a soon as this same person starts talking about himself alot it will be time to pray and for all who know the truth to come out and proclaim it.

I don't think the order is as significant as their occuring. I am still wondering who Ashdod and Ekron are in modern times. Somewhere there is also mention of Damasscus being desolate or a ruins right?

Whats dangerous here is not the military might of of Iran or Syria, but that they, at a whim might be able to twist this conflict into a war on Islam and you know how they all wish to be martyrs. With the proper amount of press coverage in the middle east I have no doubt we would indeed be looking at world war III. Should this happen then there would again be riots and worse in nations that have been overly lax with their immigration policies. It would be utter anarchy in these countries preventing them from providing any meaningfull support to the larger war efforts.

I have not heard much opposition to this from within the U.S. with exception to interviews of palestinian and Labanese envoys on the liberal networks.

Iran really needs to mind its own business at this point. They already have enough attention on them as it is. Thanks to their latest escapades there are current contigencies in place to deal with them should they decide to make trouble.

Peace loving indeed. I would like to see the apologists for islam here at worthy rationalise acts like this.

This is the kind of stuff Lebanon should be held responsible for. If they truly want a ceasefire they had better do something about these rockets and mortarts being fired into Israel from their side of the border.

The Kasams and Katyusha rockets don't seem to be very powerful. I am, howver, concerned that Israel has discovered rockets that were clearly made in Iran. This on top of Iran warning Israel against any attacks in Syria tends to complicate things. It would be a mistake for Iran to think they will be allowed to come to Syrias aid should Isreal decide to hit Hisbollah targets there.

I was certain that it would take weeks for the Lebanese to repair their runways, but aparently they managed to fix one in less than 24 hours. Israel had to go back and make sure that the airport was fully out of commission and I fully agree. They do not want the hostage being flown out right under their noses as the Lebanese government sits back and plays helpless as Hizbullah takes over their country.

Much of what they have destroyed I can understand but I think the power stations should be left alone. Personally, as long as the Katyusha rockest continue to be fired into Israel I don't think I would relent and would definately be striking the area from which they are being fired.

I am with you brothers and sisters. I would gladly give my life to defend Israel and will pray for her safety and wellness. God bless them in their times of trial and grant them the wisdom to use the strength you have given them with the same mercy and patience you have shown us. In Jesus name.

While he may have been born here, he should no longer have citizen status and therefore is not an American. His are acts of treason and should have earned him a bulls eye on his forehead by our government. I pray that this man who is now my enemy finds the sense to renounce Alla and violence and give himself to Christ. That being said, he is a threat to world peace as a representative and follower of AlQueda and needs to be eliminated before he can do further harm. Some may say that I should forgive him and pray for him. Well, I do pray for him but I am not required to forgive him unless he asks for forgiveness. Untill then he is still my enemy and must be dealt with accordingly.
