  1. Well, as they say, one drop of arsenic in a glass of water will kill you.
  2. They already get a ton of privileges in every country they live in. But of course, they're the most "persecuted" bunch on the planet (if you listen to them tell it)
  3. Tyndale publishes a chronological Bible: ISBN-10: 1414359934 or: ISBN-13: 978-1414359939 Hope that helps!
  4. This will cause more women to do as I do - work out at home!
  5. Well, didn't Obama send a team to help sway the election against Netanyahu? I'm praying for a BIG Bibi win!
  6. Reminds me of the old European practice of giving a coin to the executioner before he beheads you.
  7. The president of the European Commission has called for the creation of an EU army in order to show Russia “that we are serious about defending European values”. In an interview with German newspaper Die Welt, Jean-Claude Juncker, who leads the EU’s executive arm, said an EU army would let the continent “react credibly to threats to peace in a member state or a neighbour of the EU”. The EU is divided on how to deal with an increasingly forthright Russia, which has been accused by Nato and the US of supplying rebel fighters in eastern Ukraine with military equipment and intelligence in the conflict against government-backed forces. Some member states, including the Baltic countries of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, are calling for the bloc to take a much stricter line on its eastern neighbour. Large member states are also split over the idea of an EU army, with the proposals being cautiously welcomed by many senior German politicians but repeatedly dismissed outright by a succession of British governments. In an interview with German radio on Sunday, Ursula von der Leyen, Germany’s defence minister, also spoke in favour of a European army, pointing out that a brigade of Dutch soldiers was already under German command. “I think that in the Bundeswehr we would also be prepared, in certain circumstances, to put units under the control of another nation,” she told Deutschlandfunk. “This interweaving of armies, with the perspective of one day having a European Army, is, in my opinion, the future,” Story Link: http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/1141286a-c588-11e4-bd6b-00144feab7de.html#axzz3TtjGM2Oo The prophetic pieces are all falling into place.
  8. The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education released its list of the top 10 worst offenders of free speech on college campuses in 2014. Modesto Junior College stopped a student from distributing copies of the Constitution on Constitution Day. Two professors have been punished for defending the student. Marquette University suspended a professor and is trying to revoke his tenure after he criticized a graduate instructor for telling students that they could not express support for traditional marriage in her class. Brandeis University disinvited Ayaan Hirsi Ali from a commencement address due to the feminist activist's critical views of Islam. University of Iowa censored the art of Serhat Tanyolacar, professor of art. The art piece had an anti-racism message, but the collage of images featuring racial violence was deemed too offensive and upsetting to students. One email from an administrator described the display as "divisive, insensitive and intolerant," and said the it was removed due to the school's principles of "inclusion and acceptance." The same administrator later claimed that the reaction of the students to the art was more important than the intent of the art. Georgetown University, a private Catholic institution, has not recognized a pro-choice student group, H*yas for Choice, and has restricted where it is able to set up an information table. California State University–Fullerton ordered a sorority to have a "mandatory workshop on cultural competencies and diversity" because it has "taco Tuesday" event with Mexican garb that was deemed "disorderly, lewd, indecent or obscene." Chicago State University administrators have tried, sometimes successfully, to shut down voices critical of Chicago State University administrators. They tried to shut down a faculty blog by accusing it of "cyber-bullying." They shut down an independent student newspaper, invalidated the election to student government of one, and expelled another, of the students who ran the paper. And, CSU's former legal counsel sued the school after he was fired for reporting misconduct of administration officials. He won that suit and $3 million from the university. University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign rescinded a job offer to a professor after he posted controversial statements about Israel to his personal Twitter account. The Kansas Board of Regents instituted a policy in which professors can be punished for "improper use of social media" by impairing "harmony among co-workers." The U.S. Department's of Education and Justice required the University of Montana to define sexual harassment as any "unwelcome conduct of a sexual nature," including "verbal conduct." The departments also stated that this policy should serve as a "blueprint" for all U.S. colleges and universities. http://www.christianpost.com/news/top-10-worst-offenders-of-free-speech-on-college-campuses-135274/ "1984" on overdrive.
  9. Mark Hall, the leader singer of Christian worship band Casting Crowns, announced. *link removed* “Hey Casting Crowns Family,” Hall wrote. “I would appreciate your prayers. “Doctors found a solid mass in my right kidney about a week ago. They are 90% sure it’s cancer and they are going to remove the entire kidney next Wednesday, March 11th. They believe the cancer is contained in the kidney, which is also a great hope. They will know more once it is out and Pathology can see it. “I’ll be in recovery for a month or a little longer because of the surgery. Please pray for healing and for God’s peace for my family. He signed the post, “Praising Him in This Storm, Mark Hall.” Immediately after the singer wrote the post, the hashtag #prayingforMark began trending on social media. http://www.christianheadlines.com/blog/casting-crowns-singer-mark-hall-announces-he-has-kidney-cancer-asks-for-prayer.html Praying!
  10. A Christian children’s director in Illinois is wearing a hijab whenever she leaves her home in the Lenten season. Jessey Eagan says she was inspired to dress like a Muslim woman to experience what it was like to be an outsider. "I want to remind myself what it feels like to be an outsider – ‘the other,’” Eagan said. “So, I'm practicing hospitality this Lent by getting into the shoes (or hijab) of my Muslim friends and neighbors.” Eagan ran her idea past a Muslim friend first, to make sure the Muslim community wouldn’t find the gesture offensive. In her blog, Eagan wrote that her friend responded positively. “You are a very thoughtful person full of great ideas,” her friend said. “I don’t see a reason why people get offended by a very thoughtful, nice, and peaceful act. Our role is teach and educate all people and I’m 100% in support of this idea.” Eagan said that she was originally nervous to don the hijab at a time where “there is increasing animosity once again from (white) Americans towards Muslims in our communities.” However, she believes her experiment models Jesus' teaching. "Jesus said to love our neighbors, strangers, and enemies,” Eagan said. “I think this is something that is not often taken seriously by many Christians. We are so influenced by the media, that we allow fear to take over, and forget to love. Fear is the opposite of love." http://www.christianheadlines.com/blog/christian-woman-wearing-hijab-for-lent.html I think this is a terrible idea!
  11. Sybil Ludington - the female Paul Revere.
  12. From the article: "The rule of law is in grave danger, as federal regulators use ever thinner legal pretexts to enable vast public policy changes without votes by our elected representatives. In a span of just seven days, the FCC declared the Internet a public utility, Congress acceded to DHS implementing executive amnesty, the president used a veto threat to protect the NLRB’s ambush elections rule, and the Supreme Court’s four liberals showed they are not just willing but enthusiastic to allow the IRS to ignore the plain language of Obamacare. A great week for regulators, but a terrible week for everyone else." We've gone through the looking glass.
  13. I agree. We need to get rid of activist judges who alter laws instead of enforcing existing ones.
  14. Infowars? Wnd? I saw this online yesterday but could not find a legitimate source. I do not consider those to be legitimate sources. Here's some info from the White House website on it: http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2015/03/02/remarks-president-after-meeting-task-force-21st-century-policing
  15. Yes. Even Newsweek finally figured it out: That cover is from 2009 and newsweek was poking fun at hannity for making comments about how the us is socialist now. The magazine was NOT stating that we are socialist. In fact the magazine was stating that we are a mix of socialism and capitalism. Of course that was a few years ago and we have since shifted more towards socialism. But nonetheless, its not what your post implies. Opsie? Thanks for the correction!
  16. Great minds think alike! I was just finishing up my post, when you posted yours!
  17. I believe that it was all part of God's plan. This way, when the anti-christ comes on the scene, and negotiates a middle east peace that will allow the Jews to rebuild their Temple on the mount, the world will be astounded and follow after the Beast.
  18. Waiting to see how they spin this into the inevitable "Jewish plot."
  19. (DAILYCALLER) — In a historical ruling, Judge Malka Aviv decided that police must allow Jews to pray at the Temple Mount, the holiest Jewish site in the Old City of Jerusalem. The court case, Yehuda Glick vs. the Israeli Police, was brought forth after Rabbi Yehuda Glick was banned from visiting the Temple Mount after he was seen giving a Jewish prayer at the Temple Mount on television. Prior to this decision, Israeli police prohibited Jews from praying on the Temple Mount for security reasons. The police ban even included silent prayer, or mouthing the words to a prayer to oneself. According to Israeli police, non-Muslim prayer at the Temple Mount would incite Islamic violence. Link: http://www.wnd.com/2015/03/ruling-police-must-allow-jewish-prayer-on-temple-mount/
  20. True. It still amazes me that there are people out there who believe Obama loves America and is not a socialist/communist. Yet, Obama is doing exactly what every other socialist/communist leader has done: 1. Take over the economy (through crushing regulations and punishing the wealthy class - the "bourgeoisie." 2. Healthcare (Obamacare) 3. Communications (Net Neutrality) 4. Military/police forces (Purging of Generals - the "old guard" - and filling the void with sycophants. And now this, "Task Force on 21st Century Policing." 5. Suppress the religious and political freedom of the people. (Using the IRS and Justice Dept. against those who's religious/political views are at odds with government goals. Not to mention his "cult of personality."
