But in what you say, you put the creation above the Creator when you say we should honour and praise and glorify Him "too". Never will the Creator take second place to His creation.
-
The question is "Why God created man" imagine that you had just built the most amazingly comfortable chair or mad the most amazing pie, or quilt, better than anyone has ever made for you yet, you had no one to see it or tell you how wonderful it was or how much you loved them for what had been done for you. God had been creating the earth and the skies and animals, everything yet no one to appreciate the handy work of God. Then He thought he would make someone who would commune with Him and tell Him how much he thought of all that had been done for him and love Him, talk to Him, walk with Him in the garden and appreciate the beauty and grandeur of all done for him. It did not happen that way but we know what did happen... So why 'was' man created if not to praise, walk and talk to God and be the family He created? Adam's family..all 0f us.. yet still do we praise His handy work or stand in awe of Him and tell Him how He is loved by us or is it that we take it all for granted and forget to adore Him the Creator Jesus and God the Father who wanted someone to love Him and adore Him and be His children?
-
In reality, God wanted a family to love Him. The Catechism says we were made to honour and glorify God, yet Israel is referred to a the wife of the Father and the Church is referred to as the bride of Jesus... a family that one day will honour and love the Father and the Son and enjoy the relationship we have with them.

Oh but the dead do not sleep…they are aware.. the one true account given by Jesus about Lazarus, tells us that though he was in paradise with Abraham, the rich man wanted Lazarus to go and talk to his brother so that the brother would not end in the same place as he, the rich man. In another account from Revelation, those who are martyred during the tribulation and their souls are under the alter in heaven, cry out asking God how long must they wait for God to avenge their deaths. So, though dead, yet the soul ‘lives’ and knows what is happening…and can speak. Rev.6 - 9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slainbecause of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. 10 They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” 11 Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters,[e] were killed just as they had been.

The amazing thing about our Heavenly Father is that, as His name speaks of Him, I Am, He is in the past, in the present and in the future. A concept we will only understand when we get to heaven. The comforting thing is that He is in our past and yet loves us and forgives us if we ask regardless of how undeserving we are. He is in our present and understand our circumstances and failures and loves us. He is in our future and will guide us safely and continue to walk with us if we trust our future to Him. Just trust each day to Him. Remember, as a born again Christian, nothing happens without His permission.

They cannot be in heaven because all sleep waiting the rapture. Only those who in the OT kept the commandments or after Jesus’ death accepted/accept Him as their redeemer will be resurrected/caught up to be part of the Bride. Only one man was taken to heaven and that is Enoch. Until the Jesus comes for us, all OT saints and those who accepted Jesus sleep/wait for the shout or trumpet sound to call us to meet Jesus in the air and go with Him. THAT trumpet is not one of the trumpets of Revelation.

Ch 1-3 of Revelation is speaking of Churches in existence at the time of John the Revelator. They existed at that time and at those locations and known to John. They are not churches currently. Ch 4 -22 are future events. But, where and when do the 24 elders some to be dressed in White and sitting on the thrones around God the Father and Jesus in Ch 4? It is one of the first events that we see in Heaven. White is the clothing of righteousness given to the Bride. How do they end up on the 24 thrones?

DOES THE CREATOR REPENT? (Part 1)
Littlelambseativy replied to Leonardo Von's topic in General Discussion
Using Repent as anything other than regret or remorse is incorrect. It is much like using Allah to mean Almighty God (the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob), the Great I Am. Some words need changing to limit confusion. Relent would certainly be easier to be understood in this setting. -
But John sees them and in heaven, not paradise, and hears them sing to Almighty God on His throne before the bowls are poured out, the 7 trumpets are sounded by the angels and the battle of Armageddon. There is only one resurrection. Where in the Bible do you read of 2 resurrections? As you ask, chapter and verse please also how does John see them in Heaven with God before the judgements if they are in paradise?
-
But, there has been no resurrection of the patriarchs of the 12 tribes of Israel nor have the 12 apostles been resurrected. They are all, the 24, still asleep in the graves. So when dies their resurrection occur?
-
However, the 24 elders are there before the bowls are poured out or the trumpets. There is only one resurrection and it is after Armageddon. So, how did the 24 elders get to heaven before the bowls are poured out and trumpets sound?
-
Can you please tell me who the 24 elders are who sit on thrones in Rev 4:10 if there has been no rapture and all the redeemed are still on earth or dead? Who is this group? 9 Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: 11 “You are worthy, [g]O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they [h]exist and were created.”

These verses apply to the Jewish people who have not accepted Jesus as their Saviour/Messiah. Otherwise they are part of the Bride and are raptured before the great tribulation starts and in heaven. you are correct in that you say Jesus is coming back after the trumpets…Jesus meets the Bride in the air we…the bride, praise to meet Jesus in the air . He escorts us through the enemy’s territory. We hear the shout or the voice to come up depending on if we sleep in the grave or are alive at that time. Jesus 2nd coming is when His feet touch the Mt of Olives. After the Battle of Armageddon.
-
This, Jesus (quoting Daniel) told to the Jews who would have to flee to the Petra to escape the fury of Satan.
-
The church/bride is in heaven after ch 3 because the rapture has occurred.
-
After Revelation 3, the church ( bride ) is no longer mentioned because the church has been taken/ raptured. It speaks only if Israel and the Tribulation period. If God spared Noah and his family from the worldwide flood and Lot and his family from destruction, do you really think that Jesus would let the bride for whom He died suffer the torment of the bowls, trumpets and the evil of Satan and anti christ? We are the redeemed.

Knowing that you are His and that nothing can happen without our heavenly Father’s permission, just like Job, should give one peace. Remember that no matter the circumstance ( joy or sorrow), He is there with you. Look back on your life and try to count the times you were not alone but His arm was there. That should fill you with unspeakable joy.
-
To what pertaining to the rapture do you object?
-
The big issue should be if all the loved ones went missing and I was left behind... Then, if Jesus showed up it would be too late to say, "Forgive me for my sins." Otherwise these are false Christs.

Is abortion for raped victims allowed ?
Littlelambseativy replied to R. Hartono's topic in General Discussion
I suggest it was publicized by the group afraid that they will lose the right to abortion.. the left. it has also been publicized by those who see the harm in open borders since the one impregnating daughter and mother was not one who came in the legal way and has a history of this behavior. -

Littlelambseativy replied to R. Hartono's topic in General Discussion
Psalm 139:13-18+ should give all believers pause when it comes to abortion. God knows that person before/at conception and calls him/her by name…should there be any question about how valuable life is? If not to man then certainly to our creator. Why would our life be more valuable than that of the one aborted from the 10 yr old? -
Why were the “old” hymns rejected as out if date and step with the young? They tell the message of God’s love, sacrifice, forgiveness, protection, etc. in such beautiful ways despite our own stubbornness, longing, sin, and pain, yet knowing that we are not alone but we have a parent, a loving Heavenly Father and Saviour who is there no matter the heartache or joy of life. All missing in the modern ‘ don’t offend’ songs and repetitive phrases sung to music that cannot touch the soul like the “old hymns” born of heartache, tragedy and hope. All that changed to bring in the young…but the young did not come. Why? They went to certain churches…what else did they want? What is missing in today’s churches? We do not talk about sin, the end times….yet is that not what we as Christian’s have answers for? Why are we afraid to tell what is coming? Churches have lost members and they are seeking answers wherever they can…whether right or wrong they will find answers..to salvation and joy eternal or emptiness and damnation. Yes... I am frustrated with church leaders and the mainline churches that had the members and finances and now are closing churches and selling not only the brick and mortar but losing souls. These pious leaders have much for which to answer.

Why God doesnt interfere in Ukraine ?
Littlelambseativy replied to R. Hartono's topic in General Discussion
God is using the Ukraine War, which He in His wisdom knew was to happen, to serve His purpose in bringing Jews from the Ukraine back to their homeland of Israel. He is still bringing them from the 4 corners of the earth back home. -
Rapture is what the majority of Born again Christians refer to as the 'Catching away', the time when the dead in Christ followed by those who are alive and have accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour will rise to meet Him in the air and be with Him forever. This is just prior to the Tribulation of 7 years. This is not the Second Coming. 1 Thes 4:17
