No. My Dad had a Red Delicious Apple tree into which he grafted Yellow Delicious, Ida Red, Matsu etc. just because the other varieties were grafted into the Red Delicious Tree did not make them Red Delicious any more than Christians grafted into the vine of the Root. Gentiles who accept Jesus are not Jews. Jews who accept Jesus are still Jews, children of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. They are now Messianic/Christian Jews.

So the Muslim convert should continue to use the name Allah to refer to the God we serve? Allah and Jehovah are as far from one another as day is from night, right from wrong and love from hate, yet we tell the new Muslim to worship God by calling him Allah.

Don’t mean to derail anything either however, I taught with a Hindu, whenever we spoke of God he totally agreed, and spoke of god yet I knew his god was not the God to whom I prayed or of whom I spoke. That is why when the name of their deity is used in a Bible in their language or the Islamic language to refer to the One, Almighty I Am, it is wrong. To use Allah in place of The I Am, or Jehovah is confusing. In reverse if the Muslims wrote the Koran in English (and yes I know it was) and used God in place of Allah, I would continue to worship “my God, Jehovah, the I Am.” in place of Allah who is the antithesis of my Lord, the I Am.....if that makes sense. But it uses Allah, yet we continue to use it also. Perhaps it sounds as tho’ I am nit picking but I feel strongly about this. To continue to use Allah in the Christian Bible to the Muslim is as wrong as it is to use Vishnu ( one of the legion of Hindu gods) in a translation to the Hindu people.

I find it more than curious that when the Koran was translated into English the name “Allah” was used to stipulate the difference between the god of the Muslim and the God of the Jew/Christian, yet when we translate the Holy Bible into another language we use the name of their god for our God. In The English translation it is Allah. In Greek is it Zeus? No that was not what Paul would have used...but we do. How confusing to a new Muslim convert to pray to the Allah of the Koran. I totally disagree and stand firm on it. Gis tild Moses when asked what His name was and God said “I AM” why not use the name of God in others texts as the Almighty “I AM” ? He was, is and ever shall be. In Hindu do we tell them to pray to Vishnu? or one of the other thousands ? No, it is wrong to use the name Allah to replace the ALMIGHTY.

Our God worked out a plan of salvation before He created the earth. Why do you think that He has not provided the same message of the gospel to everyone on the earth from the beginning of time? Yes, God sent His Son so that none should perish but He and the message of salvation has been mocked around the world. Satan, has blinded men’s eyes and they have laughed at the gospel, denied the Saviour and killed the messengers. There is NO excuse for anyone today. Before the Tribulation God will make certain that all who are willing to accept His plan of redemption have had that opportunity. He is willing that non should perish. Once the Church is raptured, it will be hell on earth...people who rejected Him will have the opportunity to say “forgive me, Jesus I am sorry” but “NOT IF THEY TAKE THE MARK OF THE BEAST, OR WORSHIP HIM”. You can deny this as long as you will and it will not alter God’s plan. He does not need you to tell people about salvation during the Tribulation...He needs you to tell them NOW. Now is the acceptable hour not then. If you are hearing anything other than this you are being mislead. It is not a white Anglo-Saxon Protestant message. There are more Christianss in Africa, Asia, China, and in the further most parts of the earth than you give Our God credit for. He loves those who accept His Son. But if they reject His message it is on the individual just as it is on you and me and everyone here on Worthy. You speak about forgiveness during the current time..the CHURCH AGE but once the CHURCH is removed by the HOLY SPIRIT Who is holding back the enemy’s all out chaos, it will not be a time of peace and security. It will be everyone for himself. You must recall riots in LA and perhaps Detroit... that will be like the good old days.

I think that too many are translating and delving to the Greek words and using hermeneutics when they should just read the Word of God as written by John and accept it. Simple understanding does not fail you. Man who read Revelation 500-1000 years ago unless a scholar of the Greek or Hebrew was going to understand the message. Nothing is or was hidden from him. Too much interpretation muddies the meaning it seems.

Just remember what God asked Job....Does God need you to fulfill His plan? Is He not capable without humans? As He asked Job, “Where were you when I laid he foundations of the earth....?” Join us at that Wedding celebration in Heaven...it won’t be the same without you.

You seem to forget...I will not be here, I will be in heaven. I will be part of the Bride being wed to my Lord and enjoying the Wedding feast. You may stay here and go through the tribulation an experience the Wrath of God. You will not see or find me here.

You ask, what if it does not exist? But, what if it does? The Bible indicates it does and provides proof through other examples in history. I will trustGod’s Word that He has provided the escape for those who believe in Jesus. We are not appointed to God’s wrath otherwise why believe in His Word? What if you are wrong and there is a rapture? If you are His you will be in it whether you believe it or not.

What I would hope is that you are in the rapture and miss the coming tribulation and God’s wrath. Why would I want you to go through a time such as has never been before?

How do you interpret or deny Rev 20:4 ? And I saw thrones and they sat on them, and judgement was committed to them. Then I saw the “ souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshipped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. But the rest of the dead did not live again the thousand years were finished.”

I was not going to continue this seemingly pointless discussion with you since you have a closed mind as to what is written in the Bible, however here I am. From the beginning of time the gospel was written in the stars...protevangelium... the zodiac in today’s terms ( not astrology). Early man had no Bible but understood the meaning of the stars as the Wisemen did in their search for the newborn King. Because of the past and today’s technology, there is not one person living who has not heard that the only Living God sent His Son to die on the cross for man’s sin. No matter what their holy book is. All who live have heard or read the message of redemption. Believe and be saved or die for unbelief. There is a rapture (harpazo, rapturo or rapture). As was explained, it is a father who sees his child in harms way of a vehicle, animal, what you will, and rushes out and “snatches the loved child from harm’s way”. You can accept this act of a loving heavenly Father who would do this or not. The apostles saw Jesus die on the cross be buried, and yet stood seeing Him rise to heaven in the clouds. The same way we are told that we will rise to meet the Lord in the “air”. We will not meet Him on the earth. We will not go through the tribulation otherwise what was the point of God the Father sending His Son to die for sinners. During the tribulation, only those who did not accept the free gift of salvation are on the earth. They have already denied Jesus once. If they realize the error they made and do not take the mark of the beast and deny the Antichrist they will be hunted down and beheaded for their choice. This will be rare for one to take that stand. But to say you cannot accept that God would be so unforgiving is false doctrine according to the scriptures. All on earth today have heard the Gospel of Jesus dying for their sins. It is written in the stars. If they reject so great a gift, the sacrifice of the only Living God, their end is surely eternal damnation. Separation from Pure Love.

Not off topic at all. I wonder if you “really” read it as God speaking. God is patient and long suffering...but His patience has a limit as with Noah and Lot.

God told Noah to build an Ark. He was mocked and not believed by his neighbours or friends. When God closed the Ark Door and the rain came and people cried to be let in did God open the door to the Ark to save them? God honours His Word. He does not change nor does He change His mind. You are attempting to humanize Him. It will not work. When the rapture takes place and people are being beheaded for not accepting the mark and beg for forgiveness, God accepts them. But they had a chance to be with Jesus all that time and not endure the horrors yet chose not to follow Him. Just like those who drowned, left outside the ark.

I did not say they were not forgiven but God removed them from Eden. They were punished for not following God’s instructions.

You forget, the born again will be with Jesus in heaven. Those who denied Him will have to make the choice to follow the Antichrist and take the Chip or die. No brainer... you think life will proceed as it is now...imagine all Christians gone...what is left? Anarchy and the Antichrist.

You cannot interpret what God is saying...you accept it or not. This is black and white no grey. Accepting the mark of the beast is eternal separation from God. Nothing is clearer than that, as was pointed out by the example of Adam and Eve. They were told what the consequences would be but chose to think He did not mean it...

If you cannot buy, sell, have no money, are hungry for days on end ... or your child is starving..what will you do? No water, no juice, no food as we have seen in the stores when hurricanes are coming, what will you do? This is 7 years we are told. Will you no do anything to survive? If you have money and can buy others will attempt or successfully kill you...no gas for the car...where will you hide? The tribulation is worse than WW2. That is why Jesus will take the believers faithful to Him away from the horror of a time like no other. you are not being realistic but very idealistic about that time.

Never being able to repent is distasteful...they have all of the time before they die to repent..before the rapture or before Jesus defeats Satan. But, it is easier now to ask for forgiveness than during the tibulation when the only way to survive with food or water may be to take the mark. That will be a time like the earth has never experienced. you say nothing has been written of pretribulation rapture..I differ with you. When Jesus rose from the dead the graves were opened and people who died keeping the commandments or accepting Him as Saviour, were seen testifying and were known by their friends and family. They did not return to the grave..they went with Jesus to wait for the great rapture of the saints. Jesus took captivity captive.

I have one serious objection to your PS. YHWH= Theos ( in Greek), to all Greeks THEOS was not YHWH. GOD ( in English) = ALLAH, to all Muslim this is not YHWH. In both cases very misleading. I stopped supporting the Bible Society for this very reason. To use Allah or Isa is totally wrong. Their character is not the same. To Abraham God was “I AM”. To the Muslim who is a new Christian to maintain the use of Allah for God is wrong and confusing. To them as to the Greek Theos it should be “I Am” for that is Who He is.

You have accepted Jesus as Saviour. The Jewish people have as I mentioned accepted the Messiah for whom they longed. An Apple has many varieties. But though all are apples they are Matsu Apples ir Ida Red Apples or Fuji Apples. All Apples but not the same in taste or sweetness. So Messianic Jew is no less a Christian than Christian American just a different country but not oxymoron according to your terminology.

Why is the term “Messianic Jew” a contradiction in terminology? I could have used Christian Jew but chose the other. Those who have accepted Jesus have accepted the Messiah for whom they have longed. But a contradiction of terminology, not to me. I prefer to use the term a Jew or Israeli because they are the people set aside by God the Father to be His. Many people hate the fact that they are “God’s Chosen people” but they are. Christian Jew or Messianic Jew no difference. But oxymoron, it is no contradiction.
