  1. Very good balerio. Perhaps a little long for the start. - Would you mind giving a short form. I will definitely watch how this topic goes. Greetings - Jo
  2. Jesus. Yes Man !! - Whou ! I try to catch a glimps of HIs - athmosphere, HIs face – and … why not his faith in God. Lets say HIs presence ! ! His everything – in the now. Man – I tried also to – see a - Long list of – word and deed. Marks and Johns – with its diversity . .. and the unique qualtities in Math with Lukes gospels. I look out for the midst of HIs presence. The times of discipleship in a rather simple concept: See the 5 talks in Math.: surman (5-7), sending (10), parabols (13)– I like the “heart-is-pure” (15) talk (in the middle of feeding multitudes twice). I love the howl sequence – of about 12 healings. I rearly enjoy sitting back on my couch – and get the flow in there row. (what exactly did HE say. – what was the key line in every healing! – cute.) But – least not smallest - what did the third sequence in this discipleship realy mean to Him self. What were His feelings – in starting to tell - Peter (Mark 8/ 9 and 10 – around verses 31) , the 4 on the mount – and after meeting the young rich man (the one that – got anouther chance to follow as one of the closest 13). It is here that HE rearly started to transform the howl Messia concept. – What if – “I go to the cross! “ If this is ever possible – I will see it more and more in and through the old testament. – Whouw, how far has HE changed that. And though HE reveals to us and the disciples – using these words near Emaus ! Yes it is marvelous to see Jesus! – read, grow and understand. The more of HIM. to fellow saints on the way - Jo (shma) listen … You God’s people: with all our hearts, all minds and all our will … ( 5th Mose 6, 4 ) Yes, the Strong man is conquered - now! …the Prince of this World – has already been judged (Joh 16, 8)
  3. Hi Mizz! Thanks for a comment – nothing personal. I admire a jewish attitude. (Was it resting from 39 skills – used for the temple. p 134- 144) Lea Fleischman explained this concept beautifully: Shabat - the Judaism for NON-jews to understand ... Fleischmann L. Schabbat, das Judentum für nicht-juden verständlich gemacht. Rasch &Röhring Hamburg 1994 (german). Adventist as some of our christian brouthers (+ si) do a mixture of things. It becomes Not to clear a concept. Scriptural the NT Shabat is weaker - usually NT enlarges our concept of Gods feasts. There is a change of the day. Our highpriest having fulfilled his cleansing, seated in heaven Through the Holy spirit being here there seems more to come. Paul raises our Hope, that in us can be the same power that worked in his resurrection. Through the change of Discussion we could focus: An Attitude that is No jewish – Adventist christian – and perhaps goes even far beyond this. It The first steps would only centering on one of the OT Shabat topics – Yes – we as beleavers see Many practical benefits, which we could nearly take for granted. Especially because they already work in our society. Being in Israel (Jerusalem) than makes these things much more clear. No Busses after Friday noon. Life starts early saturday evening again. (Fine it’s a day of. Fine shops are closed – normaly. The gates of the city – had to close in OT) Later on the concept grows far beyond, lets say very much the jewish way of explaning Shabat. And yet we don’t follow in all the details. Yes – rest does good. There is also the thought for Shalom – Heb 4. It could be Second growth in Christian perspective. For the Lords day. I am interested – what choices you take for your best day in the week – dear “worthy” brothers and sisters. Best wishes in Christ , Jo listen (shma) You God’s people: with all our herats, all minds and all our will … ( 5th Mose 6, 4 ) The Strong man is conquerd - now! …the Prince of this World – has already been judged (Joh 16, 8)
  4. My Question – are we to help in this … In the sence of a shabath boy. Contact to the person – might here be one good principle to follow. The load – (legaly) not doing what is needed for temple work is huge. And as Christians we are – very soon tempted to be judemental. Can I do this person a favour. Am I myself at work tomorrow. Do I find a way to get the money thing solved. When I go to a shop, and a work men realy cares personal He will go the extra-mile. He will try to arrange for a difficult deal. He will fiddle things in, so that practical life gets easy for me as a customer. Than that is great. Every one would feel great - being on the receaving end. Having something realy complicated done – with expertise feels great. So are we – also to do, at least some of the problem solving For outher people. / On top of that its an option – building Some friendship. And later talk love – and getting to know Jesus. We so often mis this practical option. The friendship, the bridge So that we later can use that ground – for the real message. So see your option. And do – what people ask – for Jesus sake. Greetings Jo listen (shma) You God’s people: with all our herats, all minds and all our will … ( 5th Mose 6, 4 ) The Strong man is conquerd - now! …the Prince of this World – has already been judged (Joh 16, 8)
