  1. Thank the Lord for men (such as Peter) and women who are willing to put time and effort into the work that God has set forth. It truly convicts me of my selfish motives that can be derived from a lack of faithful following. May the Lord bless His ministry. Thanks nebula for the wonderful update. God Bless.
  2. Isn't Bill Clinton from Arkansas? ***shakes head and smiles deeply in respect for a really good sense of humor*** It's not my fault!
  3. Not sure about that. The question is why? Is it from the natural gas wells? Or is this natural? If natural, is it a precursor to something bigger? "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows." -Matthew 24:7-8 "And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven." -Luke 21:11 I guess whether it would be natural or man-made it is still a sign.
  4. I have read several commentaries that agree that the " Kingdom of Heaven " was established at Pentecost, that being Christ's church here on earth, the Gospel and His commandments. Hmm, never heard that one, could be. I suppose a good self-study would clear things up. Thanks for the insight though I guess the next question lies @ whether the two terms could ever be interchanged?
  5. I've always heard that the " Kingdom of God " was the ministry of the believer thru Christ, and the " Kingdom of Heaven " being the literal kingdom Christ sets up here on earth. Of course, I may be wrong... Any insight guys? Unless the " Kingdom of Heaven " can have more than one meaning?
  6. Just another sign to show that Christ is coming soon!
  7. From Darwin's perspective, creation had an appearance of intelligent design... However, lacked a true designer. Although, I believe DNA can quickly prove this to be false. He based natural selection on the sole assumption that the cell was nothing but 'jello' and that it lacked any complexity; That small gradual changes in these specific 'champion-like' creatures would gather and accumulate untill they formed more able organisms. It wasn't untill the 19th Century that scientists figured out that DNA played a key role in cells. Today, scientists have no conclusive evidence to how life began... Neither will they ever because God created life. -- God Bless, S2S
  8. Praying that God will make a way for you... He always does. Do you recall that certain chapter? "Do not earnestly remember the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it, and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. The beasts of the field shall honor Me, the jackals and the ostriches; because I give waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to My people, My chosen." Isaiah 43:18-20 Christ is the living water. With him, no man shall thirst. "But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life." John 4:14 He is the eternal source of joy. There is no other that could replace such peace we find in Him! He IS always about your troubles. He said that He will never leave you nor forsake. He is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. He is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending. He is the Great 'I AM', El Shaddai, Jehovah Himself! May God refresh your spirit through these words of encouragement. -- From your brother in Christ, S2S.
  9. I Deeply and Sincerely say this is in total Love Butero, and I highly respect your entire statement. However, I do believe that Romans 10:14 tells us something about preachers "How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?" Some people, like those in parts of Peru, don't have a Bible... So they solely depend on missionaries (sent forth by God's Spirit) who do. You see, (I'm not saying you have) we must not overlook any particular way that God may send forth His Word. ^Especially in this circumstance. However, I do get your point Butero, we must not rely solely on Preachers, Tv, Radio ect. Sometimes we have to go to His Word to get some REAL answers His Word IS the Main Source of our Faith. Nothing else can tell you otherwise. - In Love, S2S.
  10. What's next? Cheese flavored soda?
  11. Right. I'm sure many of these people claimed to be "miracle workers" of some kind. There were a few gods in ancient Greek religion that claimed to be miracle healers (including raising people from the dead). He seems to be saying, in a poetic way, that he is the only real nourishment man needs for salvation. Once they start "feeding on him" or following him, they will have eternal life. I agree. Jesus was being symbolic... He was the ultimate and final sacrifice for our sins, therefore we must "eat His flesh and drink His blood". Just like they ate sacrifices in the OT. He must be IN us, and if He is in us we are in Him.
  12. Very interesting Believer112, I enjoyed reading that. Really, I don't believe atheists exist.... The 2 main views are probably: 1.) They usually have an unsure mentallity, that they are 'still looking for answers....' 2.) They believe that you are your own God. So really, they are more of agnostics than atheists. The belief that there is no God requires more faith than to believe there is. So they are actually just rejecting Deity. -God Bless for the article, S2S.
  13. Well, from a biblical perspective Christ is the Son of God. (Philippians 2:5-11) He is also the second person of the holy trinity. (Matt. 18:19) He came so that we might have life. (John 3:16-18) Jesus IS Life, the only source of salvation. (John 14:6) He was the "God-man", 100% man & 100% God. He is EVERYTHING... I lack nothing... "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want (lack)." -Psalm 23:1 Pilate was wrong... It's not "What is truth?'' BUT "Who is truth?" Jesus Is Truth! (John 17:17) Thus, He is logic.... Reality! I can certainly cry out with David when he wrote the 23rd Psalm... Aswell as in Psalm 14:1... One has to be a fool in order to deny reality. Plain and simple.
