  1. Jesus is the Christ. through Jacob?? And God spake to [/size=3] Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob Jacob. And he said, Here am I. What is the name of the he that answered this dream voice? The voice that called Israel, "Jacob Jacob", after God said that he was not longer to be called that; did not come from the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Praise the Lord!
  2. That is not what the Bible says. The Bible says that Gentiles are grafted into the tree. You should not add to the metaphor.] That is what the metaphor illustrates. "Israel" is a natural olive tree. The Bible does not say we are in Isaac. The Bible says that all believers are the seed of Abraham by faith. You are not in Isaac. You are the spiritual seed of Abraham. We are in Christ by faith, not Isaac. You need to stop trying to make up theology and read your Bible. Secondly, being grafted into Israel does not mean being grafted into a physical people group. It refers to being joined to a community of faith, namely what Paul refers to as "Israel." Jesus is the Christ. Galatians 3:16 The natural "seed of Abraham" is Isaac. The spiritual "seed of Abraham" is Christ. We brethren are like Isaac, the Seed of Abraham. Paul never said that Israel was the good olive tree. The tree that Israel was cut out of has Abraham for the "root" and Isaac as the trunk. The tree you present starts with Jacob/Israel. Conclusion: The church is not spiritual Israel; it is spiritual Isaac. Jesus is Lord! No we are not like Isaac. We are the spiritual seed of Abraham. The Bible never compares believers to Isaac. Paul's metaphor is that the natural Olive Tree is Israel. The root is Abraham, Issac and Jacob. Your conclusion is erroneous because you are penciling things into the Bible that are contrary Now we brethren, AS ISAAC WAS, are the child of promise. Galatians 4:28 Isaac was the natural "child God promissed". We brethern are(spiritually) as Isaac was. There is a natural "body-tree" and there is a spiritual "body-tree". The natural body-Isaac can first, then the spiritual body of Christ. Galatians 3:16 The "root" of any family tree is always the father. Abraham is the father of "we bretheren", the faithful. The only one in the family line that Abraham was father to, was Isaac. Praise the Lord!

  4. Jesus is the Christ. Ok. We are grafted into the Isaac "trunk". The "root" or Father of the faithful is Abraham. The claims that Israel is the "tree" means that it is also the trunk and "root". Israel does not distinguish the Covenant, Isaac does. Those in Isaac by faith, can not boast, because they got there the same way Isaac did, by the Abraham-root type of faith. Since I am already in Issac by faith, you will never convince me that I need to be grafted into Jacob/Israel. Those natural "branches" do still neet to be grafted in at the Isaac-faith junction. Israel being grafted into itself, brings to mind the extension cord plugged into itself. Jesus is Lord!
  5. Jesus is the Christ. You understand corrrectly. The wild branches are grafted into the "root". "root" /=/ "branch". Gal. 4:28 says that "we brethren"- church are as Isaac was. Was Isaac grafted into Jacob/Israel? Was not rather Isaac the branch, from which Jacob/Israel spang? The church has been grafted into Abraham-the "root", and Israel will be grafted in there also, if they remain not still in unbelief. Jesus is Lord!
  6. Jesus is the Christ. The problem you all are having has do do with the meaning of "root" and "branch". Israel is a natural "branch". We the church are grafted into the "root". The "branches" are not the "root". The Church is not grafted into Israel. The church, "we brethren" Galatians 4:28 are like Isaac, the child of promise. We are grafted into the "root" Abraham, at the level of Isaac. Jesus is Lord!
  7. Jesus is the Christ. Last time i looked the, Till(until) we all come, had not taken place. Jesus is Lord.
  8. I agree we should all be wary of anyone bringing forth prophecy, but on the other hand we have to examine the prophecy & I think also the person bringing it forth. (We shall know them by their fruit.) This prophecy is a warning to the church to keep our eyes on Jesus & be seeking Him diligently concerning any teaching we hear. It contains warnings to guard ourselves against false teachers more & more as time goes by. It says many will be deceived by those that start out preaching truth & then get off in false doctrine. (happening all the time now) God set up the ministries of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, & teachers to equip & build us up & I believe as we come closer to the end of this age that we will see more activity from each of these offices. We will need the power of the Holy Spirit to discern who speaks the truth. I think our only hope to know when to act on a prophetic word will be the Holy Spirit because there will come a time that we can't sit and wait to see if it comes to pass or not, especially if we are involved in bringing it to pass. There are no longer any prophets. Only the gift of prophecy. I read the OP and there's a lot of general scriptural declarations that are absolutely true. I just don't agree that the evil ones will come as an angel of light within the church. For several years now my biggest gripe about the church is that most preachers claim that the man of sin and all of his cronies will come from within the church and that's just not true. The sad thing is that's what we've all been taught. The only people who believe and teach that the man of sinn will emerge from within the church are Protestant's who define the word apostasy as heresy, backslidding, or a defection from truth. That's not the defintion of apostasy. Protestant's have long held the view that the Catholic church is heretical and backslidden. In Strong's where one interpretation for apostasy is "a defection from truth," they warn that those definitions are the opinion of the interpreter. And that definition has since been removed from Strong's. I haven't been able to find it anyway. The word apostasy in no way implies a defection from truth though the Protestant's would like us to believe it does. Their opinion was influenced by Rome's horrible past. For this reason Christianity has adopted an incorrect definition of apostasy. The word apostasy has the same meaning across all religions today...except Christianity because of these well meaning Protestant's. The Catholic church has influenced Protestant Christians to believe that it's a defection from truth. There's no reason for the word apostasy to have a different meaning when applied to Christians or the church than it does elsewhere. Christian's have been misled to believe these things for so long it's hard for them to break out of it. It's no different than the experts teaching us about a global dictator and one world religion. They've taught it for so long that they just can't believe the "prophecy experts" could be wrong. This is what I disagree with about Mr. Frodsham. There shall come deceivers among My people in increasing number, who shall speak forth the truth and shall gain the favor of the people, for the people shall examine the Scriptures and say, "What these men say is true." Then when they have gained the hearts of the people, then and then only shall they bring out these wrong doctrines. Therefore, I say that you should not give your hearts to men, nor hold people's persons in admiration. For by these very persons shall Satan enter into My people. He will speak the words of righteousness and truth and will appear as a minister of light, declaring the Word. The people's hearts shall be won; they will bring out their doctrines, and the people shall be deceived. The people shall say, "Did he not speak thus and thus? And did we not examine it from the Word? Therefore he is a minister of righteousness. That he has now spoken we do not see in the Word, but it must be right, for the other things he spoke were true." Bottom line is that Frodsham believes the evil ones will come as an angel of light and start out preaching the gospel, and then Satan will enter God's people. I find that repulsive! The false gospel of the religion of the beast can be found in one word. ISLAM! I have to disagree with you when you say there are no more prophets. Now I don't personally know any but in Ephesians 4:11-13 we are told that God set certain ministries for equipping & edifying His saints until we all come to the unity of the faith & grow into a "perfect man". One of these ministry offices is prophet. As it is quite plain that the church has not reached maturity, I have to believe that God still has people in the office of prophet. The prophecy in the OP is not speaking of the "demonic duo"(as you called them). The fact that evil masquerades as angels of light is repulsive to me too, but I think there are quite a few false teachers & prophets operating in the "church" now & keeping some of God's people from growing from "milk" to "meat". If you would post scripture to back up your claim that there are no more prophets, I would appreciate it as I have not found any saying God had stopped using these ministries to fulfill His purposes for the Body. Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. You are correct. I am a prophet. Jesus is Lord!
  9. Jesus is the Christ. Jesus asked three times in the garden. His human will was not aligned with the "will of His Father" until after the third prayer. Faith comes by hearing. Have you ever heard an answer to your prayer? Jesus heard the answer "No." three times. Jesus is Lord!
  10. This I know. I was just pondering over the fact that the Lord does talk to satan, and was wondering how much He would let satan get away with? Jesus is the Christ. Guess who wants to know the answer to that one, more than you? He believes his time is short. But judgment says, "the prince of this world is(already) judged. Jesus is Lord!
  11. Jesus is the Christ. Your attitude is a "dis Grace". The blood of Jesus Christ was shed for each of those "sins" against you. I see no mention of your "rebirth" in Christ Jesus. When you get born again you will know why you should forgive. "the life I deserve"??? eternal life is a gift. Jesus is Lord!
  12. Is this talking about Israel? Genesis 12:2-4 (New King James Version) 2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed." that is a very good question. I've been told by some that it's speaking to the nation that was made through Abraham. The church was grafted into that olive tree so some think it is speaking of the church. I have acquaintances that do not believe that the majority of the people in Israel today are the descendent's of Abraham. Some people believe that they are. Whichever the case, the church would be grafted into that nation and should to apply to us all. I've been trying to prove that those of Israel today are the genetic descendent's of Abraham but even though I do think so, I'm having trouble proving it. There is no way anyone can prove genetics back to Abraham, most of the Jews can only go back so far as the temple if they are extremely lucky and none can claim lineage past any temple but most will tell you they rely on halogroups, genetic markers but no real geneaological lineage or proof. Do you realize that the Messiah had to come before the temple was destroyed in order to see His geneaology? Want to have a wild conversatation with a rabbi ask him how they will prove the Messiah today, most or all will tell you He will have to know Torah by heart and those type of things. While they are valid it wasn't when He walked the earth thats the reason His geneaology was given in scriptures yet they cannot be counted today without other resources to back it up. I don't believe that those in the land today are Israel, I believe they are Judah with a some Israel in them. Remember God said He would scatter Israel throughout the nations until He brought them home or 'until the time of restoration'. Judah on the other hand was given extended punishment and would enter into back into the land in unbelief. We are grafted into believing Israel, not unbelieving Judah, all those who call upon His name, who confess He is the Messiah is Israel. I read here quite often that not all those who sit in church pews today are christians thats how I see Israel, not all who believe they are are Israel. All over the world Israel waits for the Messiah to come back, in churches and synagogues Israel waits for her Messiah, certainly there are physical descendants of Israel but Israel probably has more companions they physical ones. Jesus is the Christ. "We are grafted into believing Israel..." is false doctrine. Galatians 4:28 says that "we brethern" are as Isaac was. Isaac was the father of Jacob, not the seed of Jacob. If we are like Isaac, then we predate Jacob/Israel. Your statment has us "we brethren" Isaac being grafted into his son. Praise the Lord!
  13. Jesus is still the Christ. Do you really expect Him to answer you in this thread? Has He ever done so before? We are not allowed to answer a question addressed to God. Once you have heard Him say about you, "This is My Seed(child) in whom I am well pleased." You will know that nothing can be wrong. Praise the Lord!
  14. Jesus is the Christ. I see no errors. The more we learn about the function of the human body, the more we know about the function of the body of Christ. The body only functions properly when all the parts are righteously connected to the head. Since there is only one body, we must all be of one mind. The body God gave His Son, took 30 years to grow. The present "body" has not grown up yet. Praise the Lord!
