Jesus's return, His Second Coming is in Ezekiel 39:21-29. Jesus Himself speaking in the text. Gog/Magog - then the 7 years (verse 9) - then Armageddon (verses 17-20) - then Jesus's return (verses 21-29)

John 5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. The Jews (Judaism) are looking for such a person, instead of Jesus who they reject as being their messiah. You can go to any Jewish (Judaism) web site to validate that. Such as the Judaism 101 web site.

Jesus arrived in Jerusalem in John 12:12-15, riding a donkey, hailed as the King of Israel. 4 days later, he was crucified. So after 69 weeks Jesus arrived as the messiah, and was cutoff at the end of the 69 weeks. All within a 4 day window. The 70th week is still unfulfilled. It will coincide with the 7 years of Ezekiel 39:9 that follow the Gog/Magog event.

The prefix "Anti" means against. Can also mean instead of. The Antichrist will be a perceived King of Israel messiah - instead of and against Jesus - the true King of Israel messiah.

Daniel 11:35 is a transition verse to the time of the end. Daniel 11:36 is about the Antichrist after he has become the beast-king of Revelation 13. Daniel 11:37 indicates that the Antichrist will be a Jew. John 4:25, "Christ" is the coming Jewish messiah. John 12:13, the King of Israel Mark 15:32, Christ the King of Israel Matthew 27:42, the King of Israel The 6th head, Nero, last of the historic Julio-Claudian series of kings. The 7th head will be the end times little horn person. The 8th head will be the beast-king, final stage of the little horn person Daniel 9:24 seventy weeks (of years) are determined up Daniel's people the Jews. The Jews have yet to embrace the gospel of salvation, nor Jesus as their savior. In Revelation 12:10, in the middle part of the 70th week, the Jews will finally embrace the gospel of salvation and Jesus as their savior. ------- If you asking for a verse in Revelation that includes the phrase "70th week" in those direct words, there is none.
-
No, the Antichrist has to be a Jew and his religion initially Judaism. Someone that the Jews will receive as their king of Israel, thought to be messiah. In addition to being a Jew, the person will be descended from the Julio-Claudian bloodline in order to fulfill Revelation 17:10.

Is there a gap between Jesus's first coming and Jesus's second coming ?
-
The temple complex is comprised of three areas. The sanctuary building, the inner court, the outer court. The inner court was limited to the priests. The outer court, the general public could gather. No, it is you saying that (in red) not the scriptures. God's holy mountain in Daniel 11:45 is the temple mount. Why do you think there is so much friction in modern times over access to the temple mount ? The Holy Mountain is mount Moriah, where Solomon built the first temple. 2Chronicles3:1 Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the LORD appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.

My graphic shows the abomination of desolation destroyed at Jesus's return, to end the great tribulation.

@The Light What starts the great tribulation ? The abomination of desolation, the AoD, set up, right ? When is the abomination of desolation destroyed to end the great tribulation ? Take a look at my graphic...

The "tribulation of those days" is over when the sixth seal take place. Not the "great tribulation of those days" is over. In reaction to the sixth seal event, the kings of the earth will gather their armies at Armageddon. At which time, the seventh vial of God's wrath then is poured out, on earth and Satan's kingdom called Babylon the Great. 16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. 17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. 18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. 19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. 20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. 21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

The great tribulation will be a time of trouble not seen before in the history of man, and not seen ever again. God's wrath in the vials of God's wrath will be poured out during the great tribulation. Also, Satan's wrath will be taking place during the great tribulation. Cut short of all life on earth being wiped out. Limited to being 1335 days long. The great tribulation includes God's wrath poured out on the world, and Satan's wrath against the inhabiters of the earth and sea, Revelation 12:12.

In the text of the sixth seal, does it say that beast and false prophet are cast into the lake of fire ? And Satan into the bottomless pit ? If not, then the great tribulation is not over at the sixth seal. Most of the great tribulation is over at the sixth seal. But not all of it.
-
Jesus descends to earth, to stand on the Mt of Olives, in Zechariah 14, splitting it in half, and ends the great tribulation at that point. The great tribulation is not over until the beast, the false prophet, and Satan have been dwelt with.

The verse, Matthew 24:29, does not say after the great tribulation of those days. Most of the great tribulation has passed, but it is not over. You keep citing Matthew 24:29 as being the sixth seal event. Yes Matthew 24:29 is the sixth seal event - except you are missing that the one big element of the sixth seal event is the sign of the Son of man in heaven of Matthew 24:30a. The sixth seal event is Matthew 24:29-30a. It is not until 45 days later that Jesus descends to earth and ends the great tribulation. AoD setup: then 1290 days to the sixth seal event, the sign of the Son of man in heaven. then 45 days to Jesus coming in power and great glory, on the 1335th day. ---------------------------------------------------- Also, please stop with all the super large text. I don't appreciate the yelling at me. Use regular size text. Bold and/or color highlight if you want to emphasis something in the text.

The great tribulation is not over at the time of the sixth seal event appearance of Jesus in heaven. The great tribulation is not over until Jesus returns to stand on the mount of olives, and casts the beast and false prophet into the lake of fire, the armies of the world gathered to make war on Him, destroyed, and when Satan is cast into the bottomless pit.

The martyred great tribulation saints in Revelation 20:4-6 are not brought back to life until after Jesus returns. In Revelation 7, it is their souls that are in heaven. ---------------------------- Jesus, appearing with a sickle in heaven, when He comes to earth, he will destroy those armies that have surrounded the city of Jerusalem, Zechariah 14, and Revelation 19:21. The armies packed into the rest of Israel, outside of Jerusalem, there will be angel, also given a sickle in Revelation 14:17-20, will destroy those armies. 19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. 20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

The abomination of desolation is "set up". It will be a statue image of the beast king in the standing position, placed on the temple mount. The temple mount is considered a holy place - that's why there is conflict right now, that the Jews want to build their temple there, but the Muslims forbid them to even pray there. Also, in Daniel 11:45, it is referred to as God's Holy mountain. 45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him. It is on the temple mount where the beast and the false prophet will be when Jesus returns and they meet their end.

You quoted... Matthew 24: 29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. I agree that Matthew 24:30b (in red) is the day of Jesus's return. 1335 days from when the abomination of desolation is setup. However, what you are not getting is that Matthew 24:29-30a (in blue) is the sign of the Son of men in heaven. The sixth seal. 1290 days from when the abomination of desolation is setup. The sixth seal takes place 45 days before Jesus's return. During the 45 days, the kings of the earth will gather their armies to make war on Jesus, his coming evident by the sign of the Son of man in heaven.

This one... John 14: 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. The sit-in temple act by the Antichrist in 2Thessalonians2:4 is the transgression (an act) of desolation, Daniel 8:12-13. Differently, the AoD, abomination of desolation, is a statue image of the person after he has become the beast-king, "set up" on the temple mount. "set up" is the phrase used in Daniel 12:11 kjv. I hear you. I get the timing from 1Thessalonians5:9-11, as being before the beginning of the day of the Lord, when God's wrath shall be poured out. The beginning of the day of the Lord, I get from 2Thessalonians2:1-4, as being the day when the Antichrist commits the transgression of desolation act. I call my rapture timing view as....

@Revelation Man Make some timeline charts of events to show how the events fit relative to one another. I use Corel Paintshop Pro to make my charts. There is a learning curve on how to use the program to make charts, I admit. I have over 50 years studying eschatology. Start with a basic timeline for the 7 years... Then pick a topic and place it on the timeline. For example, the 1290 days and 1335 days of Daniel 12:11-12.

There are three resurrections to come. 1. the rapture/resurrection of 1Thessalonians4:13-18. To happen before the Antichrist commits the transgression of desolation act of 2Thessalonians2:4. Could happen at any time. Even today. 2. the resurrection of the martyred great tribulation saints of Revelation 20:4-6. 3. the resurrection of the rest of the dead for the Great White Throne Judgment, Revelation 20:11-15.

The pre-trib rapture view is pre-70th week. I show the same on this chart I made of the pre-trib view.

No. The great tribulation is over when Jesus returns in Revelation 19:20-Revelation 20:1-3 actions. The 7th seal was opened by Jesus in Revelation 8. Revelation 8 reveals that there will be 7 trumpet plagues. Those 7 trumpet plagues take place during the great tribulation.

George, if I might make a suggestion. Change the thread title from pre-trib to pre-trib (pre-70th week), i.e. (pre-70th week in parenthesis) And make the same changes to the other view that have "trib" in them. The reason being the pre-trib is a misleading term. What is actually meant is pre-70th week of Daniel 9:27.
