  1. Willamina, I am sorry if I appeared to be questioning you or your knowledge. I was not and did not mean to send that message to you or anyone else. I just thought it was a loose end and normally you are on target and leave no loose ends. I apologize.

  5. Hebrews 1: 4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. We are to be co-heirs with Jesus The Christ and I think "we being Higher than angels" come from this verse. Also 1 Corin 6:3 says we will judge angels so that saying may also refer to this one.
  6. Willa, I like your post but I am finding myself in disagreement on the forth sentence. Am I missing something, I thought the NT laid down some rules for us to follow. The Big Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. Deuteronomy 6:4-5 Difference Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD. Leviticus 19:18 Is The Old Testament Was First And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. Mark 12:29-30 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. Mark 12:31 I was thinking of other verses but those do nicely. and here is one Romans 13:8, 9, 10 8 Owe no man anything, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. 9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

  8. I dont doubt the letters were sent out; what I doubt is the storing of records for that amount of time.
  9. Im not sure I believe this story. It cost money to store records, lots of money and most government agencies are always looking to cut parts of the budget to use the money elsewhere. Records are one of the first things cut. They do this by modifying the required time to store records. In 1972 I made 3.76 per hour and naturally had a hard time paying bills. I had put off paying car insurance, and repairing my breaks on the car. One day I went to lunch and pulled into parking lot of a restaurant ( slowly as most do ) as I turned into a space I picked out behind the building the breaks did not work and I hit the building doing maybe one mph ( guess). It just so happened my aunt owned the restaurant and i made payments to her for repairs she never repaired. Anyway the insurance would not pay and turned me over to dmv for no insurance. After about 6 months I got my license back ( sr22 )and got all things cleared up. I was back on the road legally. One other thing that happened which I learned later in life was this accident was also reported to the FBI in 1972. Why I do not know. In 1989 I went to work for a school system that required a driver license and and FBI check along with FDLE ( Florida Dept of Law Enforcement ) check. When I had cleared everything up in 1972 the court system sent notice to DMV and I got my license back. However the DMV did not notify the FBI or keep a record that I had cleared everything up. So when my report came back I was told if I want to keep my job I would have to supply in writing that this matter had been cleared up. I first contacted DMV in the town i lived in during 1972 they had no record of the incident, and verified that the license I was using in 1989 was in fact good. The school system would not accept the letter because it did not state I had cleared this up in 1972. So I talked this lady into sending another letter to the school system in this letter she stated that had it not been cleared up I could not have a present day license the fact I have a license in 1989 was proof I had cleared things up in 1972. the school system would not accept this second letter. Next I contacted the court system in that town to see if they had any records that I had cleared this up in 1972 and sure enough after a month the clerk called me and said he had found written record it was cleared up the school system accepted the court records. I sent a letter and copy to DMV asking them to notify FBI this was cleared in 1972;I do not now if they did or not notify the FBI. It may still be on my FBI record as not cleared. I learned then some keep records and some do not. So as I said earlier I do not think they had records from 1800's, I think there is something else going on.

  14. Hebrews 2 6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him? 7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: 1 Corin 6 3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
  15. here is a sight you may want to look over http://carm.org/other-books-mentioned-in-the-bible
  16. I have read that the U.S. government has strict rules about what to feed animals that are to be sold for food. I doubt it would be the same for pets. I too would like to buy inexpensive food, I just came from the store and it seems everything continues to go up.
  17. oh yeah I could live on that too. I did not know one can own a live piranha, I knew a friend that sold stuffed piranha, I still have mine.
  18. I came close to trying it a couple times. She is claiming they use be best ingredients. one thing I liked was they refuse anything from China. I never heard if dog and cat food was good or bad for people.

  20. Have a look . http://www.biblestudy.org/biblepic/how-big-was-the-ark-of-noah-scale-model.html
  21. these verses imply Noah inside the ark and God sent in the animals. It appears Noah did not do the choosing of animals. Gen 7 6And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth. 7And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood. 8Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth, 9There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah. While on the ark there were No meat eaters, that happened after the flood. Gen 9 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. 2And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. 3Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. 4But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.
  22. In most cases a verbal contract is treated the same as a written one. And in most cases I think "ignorance of the law" generally goes against the one who didn't know better. However in Labor law they tend let actual written law override oral contracts, imo.
  23. Just got this in email anyone seen this http://christiannews.net/2014/06/24/bad-news-for-the-big-bang-secular-scientists-claim-universe-shouldnt-exist/
  24. Trying to understand so I may need help; here is what I take from this post. you don't believe in a global flood, even though God inspired someone to write it down. That first sentence leads me to think you do not believe an ark was built because you also do not believe there was enough room on it from the measurements God also inspired someone to write down. Would I be wrong if I thought you also do not believe Noah even existed; he is part of the same book that describes the ark and its measurements. without a concordance or word study and only a 12 grade education I already knew the dirt beneath my feet was part of this planet called earth. Last I am worried there may other parts of the Bible you do not believe. If I received something other than what you said; help me get it right. No you would be wrong about me. I do believe in a real Noah and a real major flood just not that it was global. Why would you think that I don't believe parts of the bible. Remember scripture says "we see through a glass darkly" the bible is true but is our understanding and interpretation of scripture always correct? The answer to that question is a clear no for we are only human and subject to error. Thanks I thought we are to believe the whole Bible and I got the impression you did not believe All the bible. Glad I am wrong. but still confused.
