Yesterday I sat beside a young woman and her boyfriend that I had not met before. She had a tattoo on her wrist and I glanced at it several times without them seeing me; after a short time the boyfriend went out the front door. I asked the girl if those were letters of some sort and she said it was Latin for " live for today and do not worry about anything". She moved her hand closer so I could see the lettering better and while I was looking ( in plain site ) she mentioned all the scars just above the lettered tattoo and said I use to cut my self that is where all the scars come from. We talked a little about how and why she cut herself; I mentioned I had never met anyone who cut their self and it did not seem natural to me to use pain to stop other pain. She said she cut herself because she had so much pain in her life that she could not control and she needed to be in control and this was her only means of control. She could cut and cut to receive the pain and she could stop cutting and the pain would go away, so she had the control she was looking for in cutting or not cutting. I did not keep time of our conversation but if it lasted 20 minutes she talked for at least 15 of them i just got in a few questions and a sentence or two. Just like that she changed the subject; she said take homosexuals for instance a lot of people say they are born that way. Some say they are not born that way. She said she believed that the earth is over populated and God made homosexuals to stop the over population on the planet. Just then her boyfriend came back in a said we need to go we said good bye and might see each other again as we both frequent the place. So I never heard of anyone believing that God made them to change the population of the earth. Any thoughts " other than she is lost" any idea where this belief came from Any one ever heard of this before. Q.1 Did angels have freedom of choice ( free will ) ? It appears so in this verse. It seems pride was the choice. Q.2 When Christians are in Heaven will they have freedom of choice ( free will ) ? I said two for one but now have a third one. Q.3 If Christians will have freedom of choice ( free will ) could they be banned from Heaven?

My view of predestined is a little different. I think God predestined all of mankind to be in heaven because he loved his creation. In the beginning God created a destination (heaven) and created a path (faith) then he created us (mankind). After which he gave us free will; even though God wants us all in heaven he will not force it on us. Its by way of free will (choice). The path (faith) is laid out for us by God its our choice to travel it or not.

My anger issues were with people not with God, not Christians, not their faith and not how they lived their life. I too prayed and begged and cried and prayed and begged to God for help and I know he has helped me a lot. He has not done for me what he did for you and totally clean house. Although I am putting forth a good effort it may not be enough somehow.I hope I get there; for now I guess he left one thing in me which I do work on and pray on daily. And i had several anger issues all are under control but one I know of which is people being dishonest i hate that aspect of people. and I did not stop on my own I received help I believe from God even if no one else believes he helped me with out a total transformation in one day or one week like others. I just made a comment on the op about one of the things that caused me a lot of trouble in life which was not mentioned. It was living most of my life and everything was black or white never gray.

MG, Im sure; like you no one likes to deal with angry people even I dont and i have been on both sides many times, I have worked on my issues and have put most to rest. I would think most people may not believe an angry person can consider their self a christian but that is what I attribute to me putting away most of my issues. I still get into situations where i say to myself if this happened 10 years ago i would say something; so I am reminded often of my bad behavior in the past, but today i let them go and say nothing. I will say the one issue I still have trouble with is people being dishonest it just sets me on fire.

It will always be playing catch-up...I think God planned it that way. the Bible did not play catch up in these verses Isaiah 40:22, "It is he that sitteth upon the CIRCLE OF THE EARTH." How did Isaiah know in 700 B.C. the earth is round? The scientists of Isaiah's day thought the earth was flat. They didn't discover the earth is round until the early 1500s when Magellan sailed around the world. How did Isaiah know something over 2000 years ahead of science? Job 26:7, ". . . and hangeth the earth upon NOTHING." During the time of Job, it was believed a god named Atlas held the earth on his shoulders! Nobody believed the earth "hangeth upon NOTHING!" Job is the oldest book in the Bible! Written over 3500 years ago! How did Job know something that was IMPOSSIBLE to know during his day? Genesis 2:7, "And the Lord God formed man of the DUST OF THE GROUND, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul." Surely, you don't take Genesis 2:7 seriously?
