  1. But chicken nuggets are SO delicious! It's a shame that whole foods is so expensive versus other food chains. I would love to solely shop at them. As of now I have to eat the food served to me and I am very sure it's not of the greatest origins.
  2. I hope it's a blessing to you and any others who view it.
  3. Our intention is to get the word Of God out there via facebook and youtube. Feel free to visit! :-) https://www.facebook.com/pages/TheWitnessMinistries/156784754458391?ref=hl
  4. After some time of leaving the forum which are reasons of my own, I have came back to the forum. I missed everyone here and God bless. So you'll be seeing this face around more often.
  5. I've been liking this so far. I think it's great that they know the Koran very well to actually hold an educated argument against a muslim. I like this alot.
  6. I haven't seen this video yet but I'm very intrigued to watch it. Thank you for the link!
  7. Not gonna lie, I opened the link to the video and saw all the arabic writings and a video titled "honor killing in Islam" and started questioning if this website is safe. LOL. I'm on a department of defense computer. Anywho, I'm only 5 minutes in and I shall see where this goes.
  8. Hello scars, Oldshep is telling the truth, and nChrist has great advice. I will be praying for you as well,

    choose

hi gdmoss, going nowhere. one of my interests is how commonly quoted verses are misunderstood. this is a clear if, then, statement. which means that when "if" is not correct then you do not proceed with the rest of the statement. but when if is true then you go to the rest of the statement. so then they were to choose between two sets of gods if they thought it evil to serve the Lord. i was just curious on how people would interpret this. God bless Yeah, the way I read it, it's an ultimatum, either one serves the Lord or doesn't. Compare it to this verse : "All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the LORD weighs the spirit." (Proverbs 16:2 ESV)

    Dispensationalism

It's broken down in a very great and easy way and I guess I never looked past that or that it had a term associated with it. Thanks for the post. I'll be looking more into it.
  11. I hold my KJV close by, I have recently gotten into reading the ESV, I really like it. But when it comes to indepth study, I have KJV, NET, and ESV open. Ha ha ha.
  12. If you wanted a list of translations, why didn't you just search Amazon? A thread like this naturally garners discussion. I wanted to see what bibles people use here in this site. Here where I am currently at, we have 1 who uses the Holmes Bible, I use ESV, my PA uses NKJ, another who uses NLT... there is no need for an arguement on this thread. (EDIT: Also I never stated I want a list of different translations, I want people to state what bible they themselves use, as mentioned in the very first post)
  13. Love God with everything in you... by doing that slowly we have the desire to be more Christ like, it starts with salvation, accepting the Christ as our Lord and Savior, and then as we continue to read and pray and worship we slowly grow and follow more and more of what Jesus wanted us to do...
  14. Gen. 19:6–9 Lot’s readiness to protect the two men from the mob is admirable. In desperation he offers his two unmarried daughters as substitutes—a shocking, cowardly, and inexcusable act, even if he intended this only as a bluff, or expected the offer to be rejected. The reaction of the crowd only confirms the truly evil nature of their intentions This is a study note from the ESV study bible, it doesn't really explain much but might shed light from another scholars perspective... though vague. :-/
  15. Also as people keep posting here, this isn't about what bible is more accurate or a KJBO debate, state your sword of choice and leave it at that. :-)
  16. I agree Man, thus why almost everyone uses a different version of the Bible. :-)
  17. Well said Denise, more people need to have this mindset.
  18. I have the NET bible that I go to for ease of understanding but I am also after much research a little iffy about their competence... though of course they did a better job then I ever would... seeing as how I don't even know Aramaic or Greek... >_<
  19. Hello brothers and sisters in Christ, may God bless you all, just wanted to make a topic to see who reads what. Also please respect others here and if you believe your bible is the one and only true bible then just post your version of the bible that you believe like anyone else would post their bible. Thank you and once again God bless. For me, I was debating between NASB and ESV for the longest time... I finally settled for ESV.
  20. Go, eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart, for God has already approved what you do. Let your garments be always white. Let not oil be lacking on your head. Enjoy life with the wife whom you love, all the days of your vain life that he has given you under the sun, because that is your portion in life and in your toil at which you toil under the sun. (Ecclesiastes 9:7-9 ESV)
  21. Why I Hate Religion, But Love Jesus || Spoken Word (link removed by Candice) I know I am not suppose to link to youtube videos, currently, www.Godtube.com is currently down, has been for 5 days, at least for me. So if you go to a video browsing website of your choice, search the blue words above... great video. :-) God bless.
  22. I'm posting to check up with this later, I'm interested!
