Who am I?

I am a dreamer; a lady, gentle and quiet, but strong in spirit. I am a woman who values honour, kindness, solitude and simplicity, family and love. I care only for things that feed my soul and not for things that satisfy my selfish desires.

I hold dear to my heart simpler times; carefree, innocent days filled with picnics, walks in the woods, running barefoot on the sand, taking time to write a letter with pen and paper. I still delight in picking flowers, baking pies and goodies for friends and family, curling up in a corner with a well-loved book. Music, laughter, good manners and more; this is what I treasure the most.

Words like technology, money, cars, and fashion do not interest me at all. I need time to myself in a quiet place to think and allow my soul to grow. I enjoy resting in God's peaceful existence, praying and singing softly to Him. I want to be back in the days when everything was simpler, when people lived on the essential things, and all they needed to be happy was their home, food, family and friends. Give me a cozy chair, sunlight, an hour dedicated to afternoon tea. I want a home in the countryside with flower gardens, hanging laundry, baskets of strawberries, and homemade cornbread on a gay-checked tablecloth...

Learn to shelter your family with love, comfort and peace.

Learn to keep your wants simple.

Refuse to be owned and anchored by things and opinions of others.

Learn to like the sunrise and the sunset, the beating of rain on the roof and windows, the gentle fall of snow in winter.

Learn to hold heaven near and dear.

Learn to love God for He surely loves you.
