God created us for His pleasure and the opportunity to know Him. Humans have the ability to know God, and love Him, and serve Him and Glorify Him.

That is debatable among the Christian community. Some say as soon as the believers are taken to heaven in the rapture they will go through the Bema Seat Judgment. But what about the rest of the believers who make it through the 7 year tribulation? Some say it will happen at the end of the second coming.

What happens to their soul? The body only stays in the grave until they are resurrected.

When a person dies and they are a genuine born again believer their soul goes to heaven. Their body stays in the grave until their resurrection. When and unbeliever dies their soul goes to Hades which is a temporary holding place until the Great White Throne judgment. Their body stays in the grave until their resurrection. In the rapture of the Church all born again believers will go to heaven. All the unbelievers will go into the 7 year tribulation.

It has something to do with the conscience and the Holy Spirit.
