Silvia - Unfortunately, law enforcement and the military need to do their jobs. When Jesus arrives, their services will no longer be necessary - and the 2 witnesses, who will be doing God's work, will eventually be killed. Jesus Christ was/is a pacifist - and we should TRY to follow His example. If you don't like HIS words and you want to change them to YOUR words - O.K. Manford - Maybe you can show everyone the verses where Jesus defended Himself - or where He told His disciples to defend themselves - or where He told anyone to defend themselves. I TRY to follow His words and examples - and NOT my interpretations of His words and examples. That is MY definition of the word "Christian". Welcome to the site.

The question is this. Do you take the words of Jesus Christ literally or do you change them to suit your own wants and needs? When someone punches you in the face, you can either let that person punch your other cheek or you can pull out your gun and shoot him. If someone takes your "coat", you can either offer the other person your "shirt" or you can go after the other person. If someone forces you to walk a mile, you can either choose to walk a second mile or you can try to beat up the other person. How do you take the words and examples of Jesus Christ? I TRY to follow His words and examples literally. For example, since He NEVER owned or used a weapon, then neither should ANY of the people who claim to follow Him. You decide if Jesus wants you to take Him literally or figuratively. How many people did He beat up, argue with, or pull a sword on?

So asking a simple question like whether you are prepared is beating you over the head, accusing, confrontational, and sarcastic. O.K. I'd hate to see what I will be accused of when I ask harder questions. To anyone - If you find this thread offensive (apparently, arranging to have someone feed and water your pets is offensive), then don't post on it. That's simple enough. Let it die of its own accord.

Your daughters won't need morning after pills if you bring them up with enough confidence to say no to sex until they are at an age where they will be responsible - and if you can't do that, then at least teach them to use contraceptives. The day WILL come when you will be a grandmother. HOPEFULLY, there will be a son-in-law to congratulate on the birth of that child(ren).

The PURPOSE of this thread was to see if Pre-Tribbers are prepared for the day when they leave. Apparently, looking out for their pets and/or non-religious children, is a waste of their time. As I stated in my opening statement, if you aren't a Pre-Tribber, then this thread isn't for you. Apparently, they think that God is going to give their pets food and water after they leave, especially if they are in the house. In other words, they have not prepared at all. They ONLY seem to care about themselves. Is that love? - You tell me.

Densin - SOME people think that they have the right to tell other people how to live their lives. SOME people have this RIDICULOUS notion that they KNOW who is going to Heaven or Hell. They THINK that they know how God thinks. I call these people the "Holier Than Thou" crowd. To be honest, they are actually disgusting people, who have NO right to claim to be "Christian". They make all Christians look bad.

For the first half of the Tribulation the AC will not be a religious person. He will be more of an unknown beaurocrat. He will slowly become a person who becomes well known. The false prophet will handle all of the religious matters. After the AC's death and resurrection, then he will claim to be God. When you are God, you don't really need a "church". As far as where he will come from, I believe that he will come from the Tribe of Dan, which I believe will be Italy - my interpretation of Genesis 49 - but no one else agrees with me.

Having your pets blessed isn't going to feed them or give them water after you leave. You need to ask someone to take care of them. A "Rapture will" will go into effect after you are gone. Don't forget - You won't be the only one leaving. If you believe in the Pre-Trib Rapture, you should be prepared. It isn't going to cost you much, if anything - so what would it hurt?

...and you both will be in for a rude awakening when the AC arrives and you are still here.

If you would like to resort to childish name-calling, that can easily be arranged. Marv - No they won't - not right away. You don't have to give your things to "believers". In fact, you probably won't. bopeep - Letting your pets die of thirst is NOT in God's hands. It will be in yours. You should arrange to have someone take care of them after you leave. tgw - Actually I wasn't - but that was a thoughtful way of looking at it.

Justin - If there is no Rapture, then the antichrist will come and the Pre-Tribbers will never admit that so and so is actualy the antichrist BECAUSE they will still be here. When they finally do realize that so and so is the AC, then you can bet your bottom dollar that the vast majority of the Pre-Tribbers will curse God for breaking His "promise" to them by not whisking them away.

Qnts2 - That's quite a story. They at least had a plan, which they gave alot of thought to. other one - So your pets go to Heaven too? I didn't know that. Do the pets of non-believers go to Heaven also? John - What you call a ticked off tone, I call curiosity. Apparently, you have never been asked such a simple question before or had given it any thought. Joe - Apparently, you can't answer a simple question either. So I guess this thought has never entered your mind. Who is going to take care of the possessions, the pets, the non-religious child, etc. Fez - I'm NOT leaving. You are. You should at least be prepared for that day - at least for your pets sake, if you have any.

If you don't care about your possessions, then what about your pets - or don't you care about them either? So they die of thirst in a weeks time - So what?

Post-Tribbers, No-Tribbers, and Preterists - This thread does NOT question the validity of the Pre-Trib Rapture. You can do that on other threads. I would like to ask the Pre-Tribbers a very SERIOUS question. Pre-Tribbers - You will be going away at some point in time - in a moment's notice. Have you made any plans? Have you made a Rapture will? SOMEBODY should get your property - unless you want someone to break down your door and just take it - your house, your car, your furniture, etc. What about your money? You could will it to your non-religious family member or very good friend of another religion. You can go online and make a will. You don't even need a lawyer. What about your pets? You don't want them to die of thirst - do you? That would be horribly cruel. SOMEBODY should take care of them. You DO love your cats, dogs, or whatever - don't you? Have you made ANY plans?

What do you want me to add to the conversation - that the Pre-Trib Rapture Doctrine is a lie and those who believe it have already been deceived? - O.K. Maybe you would like me to add that those who believe in this doctrine face the very real possibility that they will curse God when there is no Rapture for breaking His "promise". No one will have to explain the Pre-Trib Rapture because it won't be happening. What far too many people will have to explain is why it didn't happen when so many believed that it would happen.

Angels4u - I'm positive. Besides,if I'm wrong, it doesn't matter. I was probably going to die anyway. WHEN you are proven to be wrong, your whole spiritual life will come crashing down on you - with horrific results.

Joe - I'm Sorry - I'm not certain of what you said regarding the Pre-Trib Rapture - whether you are for or against. Children have "Faith" that Santa Claus is going to bring them presents. Eventually, they have to be told the truth. The same holds true for Pre-Tribbers - even your wife (if I read your story correctly). Satan is deceiving them so that his protege will not be noticed by that group of people when the Rapture fails to happen.

Marv - When the AC arrives on the scene, Pre-Tribbers don't expect to be here. They don't expect to have to work 15 hour days. They will never know who the AC is until it is too late. Their line of thought will go - "God PROMISED us that we will be gone when the AC arrives, so that is not him". That will be their undoing. If you are one of those people who thinks that date-setting is an appropriate thing to do, then just ignore the words of Jesus Christ. Johnny - It is my belief that Satan LOVES the Pre-Trib Doctrine. It's a great way to deceive many.
