  1. Eternal Security or Once Saved Always Saved is Absolutely True. The Holy Bible has many verses or passages that prove this. Here is just a few. There are many more. Jesus Christ, who is the Lord God Almighty, proclaimed the following. John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. Since belief is the only thing mentioned, it must be the only thing necessary for salvation. It cannot be belief plus anything else. If it were, then the statement would not be true. But Jesus said this, so it must be true. If someone does not believe these words spoken by Jesus Christ, then that person does not believe what Jesus Christ said. Therefore that person has not believed on the Lord Jesus Christ. John 3:14-15 is a faith alone statement. It is also a once saved, always saved statement, else it would say might have everlasting life. If a person have everlasting life, they could never be damned. In the passage below, verses 15 and 16 again say the same thing and by the same logic have eternal security. Both also emphatically claim, “should not perish” also. Verse 18 Jesus Christ says that they are not condemned. John 3:14-18 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. In verse 26, Jesus Christ said that they shall never die. Surely you believe God. John 11:25-26 25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? If your sealed till the day of redemption, you could not be damned. Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Jesus says He is with the saved and will never leave them. How could they ever go to hell. Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. If someone has eternal life, then they could never be damned. If not they did not have eternal life but potentially eternal life. Jesus Christ, who is God, would not lie. Again Jesus Christ is emphatic that “they shall never perish.” Obviously no man can pluck them out of Jesus’ hand or His Father’s hand. John 10:28-30 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30 I and my Father are one. How can you know that you have eternal life if is only a maybe? 1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. The next passage says “are saved” not might be saved. Ephesians 2:8-9 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Potentially damned could not be salvation. Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. 2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. The above sampling absolutely proves that eternal security (once saved always saved) is absolutely true. They are emphatic and quite clear. Since the Holy Bible has no contradictions, anything that you think shows otherwise is just your mistaken interpretation. Many people assume a passage is talking about salvation/damnation when it is not. This is usually done by taking the verse out of context, assuming meanings of words with false definitions and doctrines, ignoring what salvation really means, or by not rightly dividing the word of truth (see 2 Timothy 2:15) You may be confusing statements made to a different people, for a different time, about a different subject. You may even be using a new Bible version with a corrupt reading. In love, in Christ, in meekness, Mark
  2. I didn't say there were other H. sapiens species. That would be weird, since H. sapiens is a species. I said there were several hominid species prior to the evolution of H. sapiens. That's a fact. Sure, I understand that those are your religious beliefs. We have virtually complete skeletons that show a mosaic of human and primitive "ape-like" traits. That's not an assumption, it's a fact and has nothing to do with religion. Every one who speculates about the origin the universe and life forms on earth is basing it on a religious belief. The atheist assume that there is no God. The theists/evolutionist believes God directed it or started it all out at the beginning and just let it go. The 6-day creationists believes it happened as it says in the Holy Bible starting around 6000 years.. The atheist belief is of course easily proven wrong. The theist/evolutionist gets around the failure of the atheist idea, because he can always get around the impossible with a very quick nod to God. But this is the problem for the theist/evolutionist. Which God is he worshipping. There is only one book in the history of the world that can prove it is from God Almighty creator. It emphatically says God created in 6 days and there was no evolution. So the theist/evolutionist has no logic to stand on. He has no book from God. So he has contradicted himself and his belief is proven false. God spoke the following and wrote this twice with His own finger into stone. Exodus 20:10-11 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. So the atheist and the theist/evolutionist have a religion. In hypocrisy they have established this religion in the public schools in violation of the establishment of religion clause. When a creationist wants to present his views alongside, the atheist and theist/evolutionist prevent the creationist from speaking, in violation of the right to free speech and religion. They also hypocritically claim that the creationist is violating the establishment clause.
  3. That's different than the theory itself. I agree that some scientists use evolutionary theory to justify their atheism, but by the same token there are scientists who justify their faith in God via their understanding of evolution (e.g. Francis Collins, Ken Miller). But there's no difference in how evolutionary theory would change if it was discovered that God created a species and how plate tectonics would change if it was discovered that God created a mountain range. Plate tectonics would be (simplistically speaking) : The movement of tectonic plates creates mountains, except for this range which was created by God. Evolutionary common descent would be: All life on earth shares a common evolutionary past, except for this species which was created by God. The same could be said for any scientific explanation. I didn't see you mention plants before, so that's new to me. But Genesis also says God created plants as well, even specifying fruit trees. Well, from a scientific perspective there was "something similar" before H. sapiens. There were actually several hominid species running around! But I understand that for most folks here, the scientific perspective is largely irrelevant. If we stick to facts, you cannot say that there were several H. sapien species before. That is an interpretation based a religious assumption. Mankind lived almost 1000 years before the flood. Mankind was living almost 1000 years around the time of the flood. Mankind's lifetime moves quickly to be limited to 120 years about the time of Moses. Similar changes occurred to all animal species during these years due to the curse from the fall in the garden and the changes from the flood. Now all species have variance in them. There are also young developing individuals and mature individuals. There is no way that you can surmise from a few bone fragments, based on the information above, what species were running. around. Your false religious assumption is causing you to err on your conclusions. Was
  4. If you read the papers, new "functionality" is part of the results. And I'm sorry, I don't know what a "created kind" is. One example. It is absolutely impossible for upward evolution from just atoms and molecules to a first cell or first living creature or any first thing whether made of proteins, RNA, or DNA. A simple study of the odds shows that if the universe were 1 trillion times a trillion years old, it would never happen. Also a fish is not my ancestor. The same odds destroy a fish becoming a mammal, Now some believe that God designed the process. At least they may have a belief in a Creator. But this is just an admission that without God the upward evolution from atoms and molecules to mankind would be impossible without God. But what God used the long process of evolution? The God of the Holy Bible certainly did not. You cannot contort the Holy Bible to allow for that. But the Holy Bible must be the word of God by simple logic. So God was not only an eyewitness, He did it. Why would God have multitudes of animals suffer death and disease for those many millions of years just to get 2 people to sin in a garden. That is a cruel God and not the God of the Holy Bible. If you believe that God used evolution over eons, you are being deceived by Satan who came up with that theory. The people you are unwittingly in league with teach no God and convince children of that. Later they will worship Satan as God because being not saved they will be deceived. In love, in Christ, in meekness, Mark
  5. You actually missed the entire point. Oh well, never mind. UPWARD EVOLUTION WITH NEW ORGANS AND FUNCTIONALITY? or just small changes within created kinds?
  6. The fact that such a non-fact reply by was posted shows that there are NO FACTS, which are not based on a religious assumption, for their theories.
  7. Since there not a single fact, not based on a religious assumption, that the earth, the universe, and anything in the universe is older than say 6000 years, how do evolutionists say that a certain creature evolved into another creature 10 million years ago? In fact how do you quote any dating of over 6,ooo years for any event since there not a single fact, not based on a religious assumption, that the earth, the universe, and anything in the universe is older than say 6000 years?
  8. At the very least, the fact that all life on earth is made up of chemicals and cells definitely supports the theory. Or God used chemicals. So it does not give any weight to either religious assumption. However, the very fact that the chemicals have properties that they can form such complex cells and the extreme order and complexity of cells points more to God the Creator than random chance. In fact it disproves the random chance theory completely. Some my initial statement that there is not a single fact, not based on a religious assumption, to prove their theory is still true. Perhaps you can explain how one isotope that decays via alpha decay and another that does so via electron capture--two completely independent processes--both give the same results in determining the age of ancient objects? Or God sped up all decay processes by the same amount during the fall in the garden and during the world wide flood. At that point you would not be able to tell. However if there is any incomsitentcy between all decay processes then again God the Creator is true. Have you evidence that all decay processes are consistent and to what degree of accuracy have they been measured. So my initial statement that there is not a single fact, not based on a religious assumption, that the earth the universe, and anything in the universe is older than say 6000 years is still true. Then why hasn't the scientific community seemed to notice? There are many scientists who have disproved all parts of upward evolution from chemicals to mankind and long ages to the universe, they just aren't counted as scientist by those that belief in upward evolution from chemicals to mankind and long ages to the universe. But wait. If I do not count anyone as a scientist who believes in upward evolution from chemicals to mankind and long ages to the universe, then there are no scientists that believe your theories. In fact all scientists then believe in a 6-day creation about 6000 years ago.
  9. The theory that everything evolved from chemicals into a cell into all the life forms through upward evolution is ABSOLUTELY FALSE. Those that believe this have not a single fact, not based on a religious assumption, to prove their theory. In fact, those that believe this have not a single fact, not based on a religious assumption, that the earth the universe, and anything in the universe is older than say 6000 years. But all of these theories are easily shown to be false by simple logic, math, and science.

  11. When you are born again, you receive the Holy Spirit and can never lose the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is given as a gift when a person beleives in Jesus Christ. God does not take back that gift. John 7:38-39 38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. 39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) Romans 11:29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. Ephesians 11:30 And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. While a saved person cannot lose the Holy Spirit, they could certainly grieve the Holy Spirit or quench the Holy Spirit in them. 1 Thessalonians 5:19 Quench not the Spirit. In fact, we are encouraged to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 5:17-20 17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. 18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; 19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; 20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
  12. I think, but have no proof from scripture, that Jesus wrote the ten commandments in the ground. Remember this is just my theory which God may have put into my heart. In the Old Testament, God Almighty wrote the ten commandments twice with the finger of God. See Exodus 31:18 and Deuteronomy 9:10 and 10:4. Jesus wrote on the ground with His finger (the finger of God). I believe He wrote the ten commandments exactly like He did in the Old Testament. He may have written the first 4 commandments in John 8:6. The Pharisees were not yet convicted. In the John 8:8. Jesus wrote the rest. The Pharisees were then convicted by these. However, they did not recognize that Jesus Christ is God Almighty. Nor did they understand that Jesus was the Saviour for those sins. So instead of coming to Jesus for forgiveness they walked away. The woman caught in adultery saw Jesus write "I am the Lord thy God" (Exodus 20:2a) She believed Jesus was God and knew her need for His forgiveness. As I said just a theory.
