I just want to share this story with you guys on this site.in my village in those days our great grandfathers worship idols.most of them enter into covenant with idols all the idols have names.and mermaid spirits.when ever they have problems they will go to the idols.and they will enter into agreement with the idols.the agreement gose like this.every month you will sacrifice a ram.if you fail one of your child will die.now our great grandfathers are no more.and some of us have accept christ as our Lord and savior.and no body is keeping the agreement our fathers made with those idols and mermaid spirit.the reason why iam sharing this with you guys here.this site have help me to become an active christian.i use to be a passive christian before.i believe in christ but iam not doing his will,i know the truht but i was not obeying the truht.now i stagger not with unbelief.the truht has set me free.i feel free now with boldnes of heart to tell my old friends that iam now born again.and they have been seen it by my action.iam still like a new born baby.in terms of living a born again life.one day i went to my friend house to share my new life with him and what the Lord has done in my life.we pray together.after that he told me that a has been going through hell.a man use to appear to him in a dreams.i quote your great grandfathers served me.and you as the only male child it's your turn to serve me.if you refused to serve me you will not become useful in life and non of your sisters will get marry.and the boy told me that when ever he saw the man in the dream he will become sick.the boy is the only son with four sisters non of them is marry.they do go to church but not born again.in my place christian just show that you are not a muslim.this boy now asked me to help him.i know that only God can deliver him.the boy also told me that one brother prayed for him.and the brother was asking the spirit to go out.after the prayer the spirit told the brother to stay away or he will kill him.now i don't know what to do.some powerful men of God in my village.they will ask you to sow a seed before they can deliver you.what do you guys think i should do

Faith is evidence of things not seen".God is faith.we pray to him by faith.because we are not seen him physically.because he is a spirit and we believed that he heareth our prayers.without faith it's impossible to please God"

For me the post is very encouraging.my experience in life have taught me alot pertaining God's way of doing things.no testimony without test.we are ask to give God thanks in every situation.God allow some certain things to happen.in other for God to perform miracles.

Well i appreciate all the replies above.i was even thinking that the pastor is acting under familiar spirit.they use to address him as a prophet.he always tell people that those who work in the altar eat from the altar,that is what most pastors and prophets do in my place.they will tell you.your problem.and also tell you who is responsible for what someone is pasting true. Then when you ask them to help you in prayer they will ask you to bring money.or they will ask you to sow seed.in my place church is a very easy busines to make money.

How do you mean.by puts on a red flags

I just want to know if it's biblical for someon to pay someone els to fast on his behave,or to fast along with him" .a good friend of mine told me that,he called a certained pastor on the phone.both of them know each other before.so the pastor told him that God revealed to him that he is going through rising and falling in a busines.the boy said yes that the pastor is right,so he asked the pastor what do i do.the pastor told him that he need to fast.and he also need to sow seed so that the pastor praying team will fast along with him.the pastor asked him to pay money into his account.before he can deliver him from the spirit of rising and falling in busines.this my friend agreed to pay sum amount of money to him.but the pastor said that the money is too small.this my friend asked me to advice him on what to do". Your advice will be very helpful"

My own opinion. No it's not biblical, God can never give you what you can't control". it is just like this popular saying in my country". heaven help those who help themself"

the woman was practicing divination through the help of an evil spirit. can a pastor or a prophet walk with a familiar spirit.as in deliver people or perform miracles

What is christian.does going to church make someone a christian.even criminals goes to church.harlot goes to church.if you ask them they will tell you that they are christians.i believed been a christian is just a proccess of believing in christ.there is a differnce between knowing the truth and obeying the truth.knowing the truth means been a christian.and obeying the truth means been born again"

Is familiar spirit from God or from satan.i'm asking this question base on:1 SAMUEL, 28:vers 6,said) and when Saul enquired of the Lord,the Lord answered him not.neither by dreams,nor by Urim,nor by prophets:but in the verse below a woman with a familiar spirit revealed to him what he was looking for.

Christian is just a name.someone can answer peace. but will not have peace in life,bible said that Judgment will start in the house of God.some are christians but they are not acting like christ.most christian will go to hell fire.because they have known the truth.and they don't want to obey the truth.some are christians but not born again.some read the scripture but refuse to do what the scripture says.

I received this chapter as a revelation. As someone who has been waiting for God direction. What is God trying to tell me, your advice will be very helpful. Hebrews 6:12-15 12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. 13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, 14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. 15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

Matt 27:19, when he was set down to the judgment seat,his wife.sent unto him saying have thou nothing to do with that just man:for i have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him" was the dream sent to pilate wife by satan in other to prevent the scripture from been fulfilled,iam a little bit confused,was the dream from God?

Can someone dream about his heart desired and wish?, can someone commit sin through dream?.if someone see himself commiting fornication or doing what he detest to do physically in the dream.what do you guys think the person should do?,how can i distinguished,dream sent from God and the one from satan?"

From my own understanding,every living soul is a child of God,some time we go astray like the prodigal son,it's not the will God that any soul should perish,satan can easily enter into someone.and that person will start doing the will of satan.that the same person may change.after hearing the word of God.and start doing the will of God.once a man is in christ is a new creature.old thing past away everything become new"
