There is ' context " to consider,so far I've seen nothing but misapplication.... Even from the Book of Leviticus you are picking out parts you probably try very hard to adhere to.... Feelings mutual....we can,of course,speculate all we want to but though we might not be able to comprehend HOW God Does what He Does - His Written Word is really all we need to Understand His Will and His Marvelous Ways - I think Scripture is very clear on what we DO NEED to Know.....we are procreated beings,our consciousness is what I think the world determines to be " life"- this would be the soul or nephesh,oxygen needed for the brain - they try to measure brain activity- still this is " the flesh" ,isn't it? I don't know what's going on there because basically I don't believe much of anything Googled- truly.... especially from news reporters and even more so social media However,I do know some folks that went up to offer help,in any capacity--what they did comment on is how amazed they were to see so many people from all over this Country doing the same-it looks like post apocalypse is what they said only the volunteers are everywhere and where they cannot get to they are walking with pack mules or riding horses and mules to bring needed supplies,food,tents etc..... Well,my Grandpa knew him and his lovely family well- both he and my Grandpa were not "organized religion" folks( neither am I for that matter) my Grandfather also made sure I got to church on Sundays when I was there so I can relate to those stories about Walt Disney- my own family were very similar and my Dad read the Bible to me every night though never went to church It kind of makes me sick any time I would watch a documentary about subliminal messages and Disney's name was brought in- I suppose you can see whatever your looking for if you are always looking to see something- like 3 sixes in the name Disney,I mean- seriously?lol He was a very talented artist who brought so much joy and laughter into our lives - I was certainly a Disney kid and I suppose I always looked for good ,thats exactly what I saw With love in Christ,Kwik Walt Disney found a way into our hearts,I hope he had Jesus in his own heart

Hi May I ask what brought you to the foot of the Cross in the first place,would you be willing to share your Testimony I don't know how long ago or how short ago your story began,I don't really know anything about you but I sure would like to- sometimes we ALL should reach back to the time when we looked to Jesus,when we Knew without a shadow of doubt that we simply NEEDED Him,the desire of our heart was for God's Grace,Forgiveness,Acceptance ..... On that Day or at that time we often hear people share the flooding " emotions " they felt and from that moment on everything changes but we also hear" not much changed" as well.... I believe we all have different expectations,of course our own hearts & minds can have different expectations - without feeding our Spirit there's no Growth..... I can completely relate to having expectations of " feeling" different because my own experience was " feeling " change--- then there wasn't and I was confused,I remember crying out " Where did you go Lord" or " Why can't I FEEL You,,Hear You"....there comes a time we must Know and Believe His Word- this does not come from feelings,,it comes from a Renewing of our minds that this New Creature in Christ can Grow and Mature-with the Faith that Saves we are Given but a Measure of Faith- and Faith needs to be Perfected,Nourished,Fed ..... this is not something that requires effort ,it takes no effort to Hear the Word of God to Renew the Mind and open the Eyes of our Hearts You speak about other Christians having warm,loving " feelings" towards God.....what you are likely witnessing is not " feelings" as we know it but the Heart and Mind of Christ which we Know " Jesus is the Only Way,the Truth and the Life..... I'm not suggesting you not take medication but I am saying that hoping to address issues of the carnal mind is not the answer or" way" to Relationship with our Heavenly Father.Striving to " feel" better mentally does not lead to a Life More Abundant- it's not uncommon to lose our way or our focus or become frustrated,confused,angry or doubtful so you can always go back to where you started at the foot of the cross What I'm suggesting doesn't have anything to do with repentance or trying or effort or asking for Forgiveness.... thst would be suggesting that Jesus isn't enough and your work is-no,He IS Enough to Fill all what's missing so what brought you to your knees in the first place?
