  1. Because there is only one Word of God which is His Son
  2. The Bible is the Word of God. We believe that the 66 books of the Canon, from Genesis to revelation are the exhaustive , inerrant and inspired word of God. http://www.worthynetwork.com/statement-of-faith I believe the Bible is words from God, inspired and has 72 books
  3. Just in disagreement with protestant interpretation
  4. I will say it one last time. I do not believe as protestants that the Bible is the Word of God, Christ is. period. Now I am unsubscribing
  5. That's not just a disagreement. That, is just wrong. The Bible is the word of God. Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. 21For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. I Peter 1:20-21 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, II Timothy 3:16 “If anyone hears my words but does not keep them, I do not judge that person. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. 48There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; the very words I have spoken will condemn them at the last day. 49For I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me to say all that I have spoken. 50I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say.” John 12: 47-50 Jesus Himself stated that the words he spoke were ALL from God. It seems to me, that someone might be actually questionning the doctrine of the trinity if they believe that Jesus words pre-empted the Bible, which itself clearly states was given by God, is from God and inspired by God and reveals the will of God, salvation and anything and everything else including God sending His only Son, Jesus. Sorry, no. Christ is the Word of God not the bible. In the beginning the Word already existed; the Word was with God, and the Word was God. From the very beginning the Word was with God. John 1:1-2
  6. Sounds like you are looking for a fortune teller. I highly recommend against that. 1Sa 28:6-7 KJV - And when Saul enquired of the LORD, the LORD answered him not, neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets. - Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor. Otherwise, walk by faith, not by sight, and worship God in spirit and truth. Many look for the physical rather than the spiritual. Jhn 4:24 KJV - God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Im not looking for a fortune teller I am not even looking for one to know the future but I suppose I do owe an explanation.I am looking for true prophet for two reasons the first is to test my belief that there are true prophets and the second is because I need to speak with the Lord. There are questions I need answers to and certain things I need to understand and i cant find them in the bible and he has been silent to me. Don't look for something that does not exist, pray and go talk to a pastor or Priest
  7. No one, I don't believe in the Rapture How do you explain 1 Thessalonians 4:17 for starters? "Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord." Giving hope but not dispie stuff
  8. Oh, I do believe Christ will come back. I just don't believe in dispensationalism anymore. Here is a good explanation of my position about the rapture. http://www.orthodoxresearchinstitute.org/articles/dogmatics/cozby_rapture1.htm
  9. ~ Believe For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17 Or No Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. John 5:28-29 Beloved The Resurrection And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Revelation 20:4-5 Will Happen And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. Revelation 20:12-13 I left that silliness along time ago. I am a partial preterist and amillennialist
  10. As the whale said when he saw Jonah on the shore "I ain't a swallowing that"
  11. We will have to agree to disagree
  12. The Word of God is Christ, not the Bible. The Bible are words from God
  13. Here is where you find legitimate prophets
  14. I'm really not sure that was a prophecy per say, Christ was talking about His time on earth than
