  1. Montane. I have never said, what you claim me of saying. You must have misunderstood. The church is build on the twelve apostle of which Jesus is the cornerstone.Rev 21:14. The 144000 is not the whole church, but part of it. All TRUE christians is the church, and Jesus the head of the church. The 144000 are the very elect of the church, they are the FIRST FRUITS. The rest of the church must go through tribulation to make them white. They must be purified, for they are not clean. Our righteousnes are like dirty raggs before God. Spiritual jerusalem is the bride of christ, which is the true church.rev21:9---- jesse. Jesse, a city is not the people in the city, and the people in the city are not the physical city - they just inhabit the city. Precious stones are the foundation of the city of New Jerusalem. NAMES are written on the foundations. For example, the disciple John is not holding up the city or providing any foundation for the city. However, John was one of the disciples that began the church. In truth, the church was and is built on REVELATION KNOWLEDGE - the very revelation knowlege Peter received when He said "thou are the Christ, the son of the living God." Jesus said, "upon THIS ROCK [the rock of Revealed knowledge] I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH. Then again Paul said the "foundation" is Jesus Christ. "For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ." The 144,000 is not any part of "the church" if you are speaking of the body of Christ on earth, The body of Christ today is made up mostly of Gentiles. The 144,000 will be the firstfruits of the JEWS and Hebrews and will be caught up to heavern as firstfruits at the midpoint of the 70th week. The Bride of Christ will be caught up before the 70th week. These are TWO SEPARATE groups. The 144000 are the very elect of the church, they are the FIRST FRUITS. This is simply nonsense. Did you spend time with Jehovah's Witnesses? Read it again: they come from 12 tribes of ISRAEL, while most of the bride came from Gentiles The rest of the church must go through tribulation to make them white. I think you are saying "the rest of the church" not including the 144,000?. Again total nonsense. This is not at all what the bible tells us. Indeed, you have something right; much of those today who call themselves "Christian" will be left behind. If the parable of the virgins means anything, God is showing us that perhaps only 50% of those who think they are "Christian" will be caught up at the pretrib rapture. I could make a long list of those not qualified. You should study Luke 21:36. It is there for a reason. One group who will not be qualified for the rapture will be those God finds "lukewarm." There are others. In the parable of the virgins, those left behind were SHORT on the Holy Spirit. What does that mean? They were born again - all ten - for they all had oil (the Holy Spirit) in their lamps (the seal of the Holy Spirit in their human spirits). However, only half had EXTRA Holy Spirit in vessels. This is speaking of Acts 1 & 2 and the day of Pentecost where the 120 were FILLED with the Holy Spirit. This is the Holy Spirit in their "vessels" or the Holy Spirit UPON their bodies as the anointing. AT the time of the rapture, many believers will be found SHORT on the Holy Spirit. They must be purified, for they are not clean. It is written that without holiness, NO MAN will se the Lord. Righteousness is God's gift to those who are born again. But living a holy life is a believer's gift to God. It is written that fornicators will not make it to heaven - yet this is a sin that runs rampant in the church today, just as it does in the world. (This is just one of many sins that will prevent beleivers from being qualified for the rapture.) Sin must be confessed before it will be forgiven. 1 John 1:9 is there for the church! However, so many in the church today think there is a difference between BIG sins (like murder) and a little sin (like fornication). Many beleivers are caught up in unforgiveness. They will not be found qualified for the rapture. LAMAD the last 3 1/2 years of the 70th week of Daniel For 3 1/2 years after Jesus death, His disciples continued to preach the Gospel to the Jews. The 70th Week of Daniel ended when Stephen the Apostle boldly accused the Jewish leaders of killing the prophets and delivering Jesus up to be killed. The Jews responded by stoning Stephen to death. The “Prince” in Daniel 9:26 is Jesus, and “the people of the prince,” the Roman army, came as a flood and “destroyed the city and the sanctuary.” In Luke 19:41-44, as Jesus entered Jerusalem for the last time, He lamented that the Jews did not heed Daniel’s 70 week prophecy, which told them exactly when He would come The abomination of desolation does not apply to an end-time Antichrist, it was the Roman army (who was an Abomination to the Jews), who came and desolated the Jews and the temple. In Matthew 24:15, Jesus warned “when you see the ‘abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place”. Luke 21:20 clarifies what is the abomination of desolation, “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near.” The Roman army surrounded the holy place of Jerusalem and “desolated” the Jewish people from 66 – 70 A.D., causing 1.1 million Jews to die from starvation, disease, infighting, crucifixion and by the Roman sword.
  2. Jesus was “cut off”, crucified midway through Daniel’s 70th week. The Lord’s ministry was , three and a half years in duration. Hence from His anointing until His death would be “in the midst” of the 70th week. This is a perfect match with Daniel 9:27, which says “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease.”
  3. 1 corinthians 10 27 If any of them that believe not bid you to a feast, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake. 28 But if any man say unto you, this is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof:
  4. 1 Corinthians 10:19 -22 19 What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? 20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. 21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils. 22 Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?
  5. i believe that the garden still exist on this very earh also the tree of life and the angels are protecting it not only from man but from the devil one angel can can contain man but it was protected more so from the devil and his angels thus angels plural and a flaming sword
  6. What is the purpose of 70 AD ?
  7. Mark 7:18-19; Matthew 15:11-19 Jesus said: "Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man." - yet we have Acts 21:25King James Version (KJV) 25 As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication. Would you eat things offered to idols ?thanks
  8. I dont because what goes into a man defiles the temple of God thus the verse that says not what goes in does not defile a man must be taken into contxt Would you eat blood ? taking into account what you said that not what goes into a man defiles a man thanks
  9. I dont because itt defile a man
  10. Do you think it is alright for christians to smoke ? Why or Why not ?
  11. No, they do not apply to Christians. Those commandments were given to the nation of Israel. They were never repeated as a commandment to the Church. They are relevant to us for the purpose of theological insight/lessons, but they are not given as commandment for us to observe in the New Testament economy. When were they first given to Israel ? thanks

    Melchizedek

Would you say that Adam and Eve had a father and Mother ?
  13. SEVENTY WEEKS are determined upon Thy People (Daniel's people the Jews) and upon the Holy City (Jerusalem), to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. When was the most Holy annoited ? And after THREESCORE AND TWO WEEKS shall MESSIAH BE CUT OFF, but not for Himself: and the people Why does it say after 62 weeks ?
  14. does the law of clean and unclean meats apply for Christians today why or why not ?
  15. During the following one half of this last week, or three and a half years, they refused to hear the message. The Messiah also said just before He was cut off, speaking of the Jews: "They shall fall by the edge of the sword and be led away captive into all nations, and Jerusalem shall be trodden down by the Gentiles UNTIL the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled" (Luke 21:24).

    Melchizedek

It say made like unto the Son of man not the Son of man ,Jesus fucntion as a High priest only came into effect after he died and rose again
  17. This seventy-week period, reduced to days therefore equals 490 years, as there are 490 days in 70 weeks. At the end of this 490-year period, reconciliation was to be made for iniquity, and a means provided to forgive sins, or to make an end of sins; also to anoint the Most Holy. Verse 25: The angel gave Daniel assurance that his prayers were going to be answered and a commandment would go forth sometime in the future to restore and to build Jerusalem. This gave him great hope and joy for the future of the city and people he loved. From the going forth of this commandment until the coming of the Messiah there was to be 69 weeks. After the "three score and two weeks" (one score being 20), the Messiah was to be cut off, but not for Himself. It was for others that he was to be cut off. Notice verse 26 carefully, that after He is cut off there is to be a destruction of Jerusalem and a period of desolation.
  18. Verse 23: "Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people, and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sin, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up the vision and the prophecy and to anoint the Most Holy." Notice that seventy weeks were determined upon the Jewish people and upon the Holy City Jerusalem to bring about six important conditions as mentioned in this verse. When prophecies are given in relation to days, it has been definitely proven by passing events, that we must take each day for a year in their correct application. The prophet Ezekiel gives us this instruction chapter 4, verses 5 and 6. from chapter 7 how the 1,260-day period applies to Rome and the papacy.
  19. Then why put angels to protect it ? Could not God destroyed it on spot and not wait for the flood ?
  20. If the garden was actually on the planet, it most likely was destroyed in the flood. the tree of life is in paradise according to the new testament, but I don't recall anywhere the tree of knowledge of good and evil is. I don't recall any further mention of the Garden in our future....... but the Bible is a big book and I could have missed something along the way of reading it. I believe our new abode with be the New Jerusalem..... upscale version of the Garden. Are you saying God took the tree of life to heaven ?
  21. What was destroyed by the flood the tree of life or tree of knowledge of good and evil ? Thanks
  22. What happen to the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Was it a literal tree ? Thanks Genesis 2:9 King James Version (KJV) 9 And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
  23. Isaiah 20 King James Version (KJV) 1 In the year that Tartan came unto Ashdod, (when Sargon the king of Assyria sent him,) and fought against Ashdod, and took it; 2 At the same time spake the Lord by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go and loose the sackcloth from off thy loins, and put off thy shoe from thy foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot. 3 And the Lord said, Like as my servant Isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot three years for a sign and wonder upon Egypt and upon Ethiopia; 4 So shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with their buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.
  24. Yes. Our Heavenly Father is not going to condemn those of Israel He blinded so The Gospel could go to the Gentiles per Paul in Romans 11. But those will stand in judgment during the 1,000 years, being humbled. In Ezek.44 we are shown about the Levites that went astray when Israel went astray. They will still be priests and have priestly duties to the peoples, but... they will not be allowed to approach Christ in that time. That's like on probation. Kindly elucidate? Will they have animal sacrifices ? Why or Why not ?
